Can anyone replicate this problem, I'm using the middle mouse button to jump (comes up as button 3) causes the game to crash with the weather & tornado mod
Has anyone managed to confirm if this is a bug, or is it just me?
I was curious as to weather (get it hehe) or not I installed the weather mod correctly/ I opened the zip and put the two folders in the minecraft. folder... any confirmation would be helpful! thanks everyone
*derp, figured it out lol BRINGONTHETORNADOESSSSSSSSSSSSS
ahh nuts, I finally installed it correctly and all the sudden I'm missing a bunch of textures throughout minecraft... anyone know what the problem could be?
I've got a bug to report involving creative mode. I was playing in a super flat world, creative, with weather turned off, running Weather 1.41. As I was playing, a few random, weak tornadoes would drift by. There weren't even strong enough to lift dirt, just mobs, and there was quite some time between them.
However, as time passed, they're frequency increased, and eventually, one passed strait through the middle of my build, ripping up a thin path of dirt, and some minor building damage. After that, I decided I would move on to a new world, and started to make a bomb with a mine cart delivered detonator to test how a wall design held up. But in the time it took me to lay a short line of track down, another, more powerful tornado ripped through, nailing the wall.
And then, before I could even completely assess the damage, the largest tornado yet rolled through, and demolished a Smithy and bridge I had made...
Long Story Short: Tornadoes are spawning in Creative Mode, even with weather turned off, and still causing a lot of havoc.
I know tornado damaged can be configured, but on your site, it said, "Creative mode fully protected from wind and tornado influence," so I didn't think I needed to for Creative Mode. Is this a bug, or an oversight of the settings on my part?
Isn't there different types of tornados and hurricanes? Whenever I spawn one they look the same and its path is the same size

Hi there! I have some issues with Weather Mod, which is too bad 'cuz it's an awesome mod. Anyway...
Although the Weather Mod (Weather v1.41 Mod for MC v1.5.1 - 2004KB) is pretty awesome, I think I found a bug in it.
I have been able to repeat the bug, as well. It is as follows:
-wait until a big storm, possibly with a tornado
-set Thunder to on in the world you're in
-when you see a storm tornado in the distance, try to take a snapshot of it with F2.
The client will Stop (not crash, crash gives you the window with the white background and black text). No, the client will close, spit out an error about "run out of memory" and "logged you out to prevent world corruption" or something like that. And all I did was want to take an F2 snapshot of the great tornado in the distance.
It can be a rainstorm or a snowstorm. If there is any kind of storm (I'm not sure if the thunder matters), you will be unable to capture a screenshot of it, and your game will cease. I'm running an MCPC+ server and the console is not really showing up any errors, but the client dislikes whatever goes on in the screen and crashes hard. Minecraft then says something like:
"To prevent world corruption, we have closed the session" or something.
The game sort of plays OK if you never take snapshots. There's a great slowdown when switching from a taiga biome to a river biome (a river runs through my world) if it's raining. Raining slows down the thing to a crawl. Is there a way to disable the new rain and keep the default rain?
Player is protected to not to be pulled in or killed by tornado on creative. Not world. You have 3 types of config included with your downloaded mod, so use the Tornadoes do no damage config, or No tornadoes config.
Ah, alright. I was really hoping I wouldn't have to change the config when switching between worlds, as I don't mind it in survival(maybe a little bit when I'm sucked through my roof, but that's the fun.)
Also, I just realized the weather option is added by Optifine, so nevermind on that.
Ehhh, looks like my mods don't work for 1.5.2, I guess I'll have to actually push these updates now XD
I was going to hold off on this info but I guess I have to mention it now:
ZombieCraft is off the back burner and getting worked on, my focus being: more user friendlyness, smp playing friendlyness, gun usage in overworld, leaderboards, map download site, smp pre-game (possibly pre-server) lobby
I've already done some work on:
- minor tooltip improvements
- gun overlays/binds working in overworld
And some non mc based work:
- Setup database design for leaderboard submissions
- Setup database design for online map repository for uploading, downloading and rating maps
I guess I'll call it ZC 3 Beta 3.1 or something for now.
Aiming to have the the updates out tonight/tomorrow, as well as see if I can do anything about some of the weather mod bugs posted.
can you update the weather and tornadoes mod to 1.5.2 plz? and can you plz make it so if a tornado gun is shot out of a dispencer, it will make a twister?
Well, that was pretty much the highest one I've seen ...
[WARNING] [Minecraft-Client] Memory connection overburdened; after processing 2500 packets, we still have 253857 to go!
I had that happen to me once, I couldn't reproduce it. It suddenly seemed like a horribly bad ... something, leak of some sort also grinding my fps to a halt. Only suggestion I can think of, set waveRenderRange to 0.
---
I'm trying to release my mods for 1.5.2 but I've hit a series of issues with a series of things that just seem to be working together to prevent me from getting these mods working (or apparently even giving me compiled files now) for non dev environment minecraft. I'm going to try setting up a new workspace entirely, but clearly this is not my night.
Also released particle man, hostile worlds alpha is ready to go as well, going to work on the mod page for it then it should be available for download.
You should give us some information what exactly you're modelling for the mod if you don't post this via PM.
I think he gave me these models, need to get them in :D, will probably on a random day when I feel like taking a break from the SMP leaderboard etc code and adding a little more to the gameplay.
@IHaTeD2 very weird.... All I can suggest is disabling more and more of the features, you can do it ingame now, type /config in console, theres a new wind volume setting too, just set it to zero (FYI, client side settings like particle stuff needs to be set while in a singleplayer[or as host in LAN] game for now)
@phoenix0899 I think i have them default off now, turn on 'demoItems' in the config.
FYI I've released hostile worlds alpha, also the download link actually works now, check it out: http://coros.us/mods/hostileworlds - now to make a video...

Awesome! And hey, thanks for making your recent mod updates backwards-compatible with 1.5.1 Corosus! The new weather mod really does increase performance a lot.
EDIT: Nevermind - It's ALMOST backwards-compatible. Well, it seems like it's running ok but I get a constant stream of these errors:

I'm guessing curBlockDamageMP is a 1.5.2-exclusive thing?
Still, even with the errors, the performance improvements and bug fixes are well worth it. It even rains properly in the Twilight Forest again.
Something is wrong at Zombiecraft 1.5.2 (Zombiecraft 3) on my server and client. If you need the log, here.

Has anyone managed to confirm if this is a bug, or is it just me?

Also I have a youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCc9Bi9r4UPZbAWyuRKBJeoA
I like to play games on steam like Garry's Mod and robocraft.
Ah, alright. I was really hoping I wouldn't have to change the config when switching between worlds, as I don't mind it in survival(maybe a little bit when I'm sucked through my roof, but that's the fun.)
Also, I just realized the weather option is added by Optifine, so nevermind on that.
Into the cellar! There's a ternader a'comin!
Test yourself: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1593407-the-master-parkpuzzle-147/#entry19565420
I had that happen to me once, I couldn't reproduce it. It suddenly seemed like a horribly bad ... something, leak of some sort also grinding my fps to a halt. Only suggestion I can think of, set waveRenderRange to 0.

Edit: Mkay everything updated http://coros.us/
Also released particle man, hostile worlds alpha is ready to go as well, going to work on the mod page for it then it should be available for download.
Into the cellar! There's a ternader a'comin!
I think he gave me these models, need to get them in :D, will probably on a random day when I feel like taking a break from the SMP leaderboard etc code and adding a little more to the gameplay.
@IHaTeD2 very weird.... All I can suggest is disabling more and more of the features, you can do it ingame now, type /config in console, theres a new wind volume setting too, just set it to zero (FYI, client side settings like particle stuff needs to be set while in a singleplayer[or as host in LAN] game for now)
Into the cellar! There's a ternader a'comin!

Still, even with the errors, the performance improvements and bug fixes are well worth it. It even rains properly in the Twilight Forest again.
