Hello, readerjjj... How you spawn a tornado is /weather2 storm create (SEVERITY)
So for example if i want a f3 tornado: /weather2 storm create f3
So for example if i want a f2 tornado: /weather2 storm create f2

You can do from F0 - F5
And you can summon hurricanes too... C0 - C5 or just say /weather2 storm create hurricane.
It will spawn a C5 hurricane.
And if you want a storm to progress (like a natural progression), use the alwaysProgress flag on the end of the command.
/weather2 storm create thunder alwaysProgress
and it'll start as Thunder and grow to the maximum storm level before dropping back down. Another fun thing to try (if you have the Ruins mod ) is to put this command in one of their command blocks, and when you load the chunk, you'll spawn the storm, and it'll kill the command block (one time use only). But this could make for an interesting game as you'll spawn the storm as you would a Ruin in the Ruins mod, and the command block will disappear once it is ran.
That will kill all storms created by the weather2 mod that are currently active. I am not aware of any flag to toggle the storms off, BUT the configs CAN be edited in game with its own GUI. In the GUI, just disable wind events, and no storms will progress to tornado.
This is dependent on the version of the mod, and what version of Minecraft you have. I do not believe in 1.7.10, there was an in-game GUI. I am using 1.10.2, and it does exist in mine.
The mod is pure genius with out a doubt however I will say that the hurricanes or cyclones need more work. The hurricanes are less destructive than the tornados and if you are in boat in the water the hurricane and tornado don't grab you or suck the player and the bout out the water to the sky, even if there F5, C5 and on top of the player they don't grab the player or suck the player to through them up to the sky. Simple adding make it so theTornados and Hurricanes can grab or suck the tree's logs or the trees wood not just the wood planks .The hurricanes should be more destructive and grab more blocks like much much more. You guys can add to the cyclones a storm surge that can flood costal areas or water biomes like the swamp, lakes. The rives can grow and have a strong water current that can break or take blocks and mobs that get in it way. The big river rush can drown mobs or hurt them with blocks in the ragging river or if they crashs with something they should take damagers. Hurricanes create big floods right? So you guys can add for the hurricanes and thunder storms water bucket effect to flood the area plus with the new minecraft bubble mechanic you can add the blubbles that make the mobs and items sink and make it really hard for the mobs or player to get to the surfaces thus the player will have to move to higher ground or block the water if there in flood situation. after the storm water can gradually disapper and no sinking effect. Make the Cyclones, thunder storms create big waves that can damages mobs push then down the water to drown them in the oceans or water biomes, and floods can effect other biomes depending on the category of the storm (hurricanes) or thunder storms. For the sea if the player is in the water and there a cyclones close by there should be strong high waves in the area and if a c5 the water retreats from the coast and can come back when the storm has gonne away from the area or when the storm enter the area and them that additional water makes the storm surge stonger and adds more flooding. The hurricane throwing up the blocks is cool and all but make the blocks fly more inside the cyclone has flying projectiles that damagers mods a can break blocks the like the first tornados when this mod was begining. The same for the twisters (tornados)

This mod is fantastic. I can't do without it.
I have only one "complaint" (if you want to call it that): storms should blot out the sun/moon/stars. It's kind of strange to see the sun when you're in the middle of a hurricane, for example. And that's really my only critique.
Your sandstorms. oh. my. god. A++++++++ would haboob again.

Is there a way to get the Weather and Storms mod to show up well with shaders? All I've seen so far are indications I should turn off shaders on clouds if possible, or use packs that don't shade clouds (??) I use Sildur's shaders, very happy with them.
Any other thing I should turn off for this mod in particular?
Is that the final word on this issue?

Hey Coro, I know you've been asked this before, but can you enable logs to be sucked up by tornados by default? I don't want to have to use the grab list constantly. For one, when you use the grab list, certain behaviors aren't enabled, like glass panes being broken, they just get sucked out instead. and two, I don't wanna go though EVERY. SINGLE. ITEM! since you don't want them sucking up everything down to the void. It's annoying as heck.
Also, you should add another grab list feature. Here's the idea. I run multiple mods on minecraft, so, obviously, they won't get sucked up by the tornado unless I add them to the grab list, and enable grab list only. the problem is the same as the previous one. Now, I know you don't wanna try to make your mod compatible with everything else, fair enough. However, if you make a secondary grablist that works with the standard strength grabbing setting, I think it would be much better. It would still likely have to ignore the strength grabbing rules for the most part, but if this list were set to say... Grab mod items/blocks when tornado is at minimum f3 or larger, I think that would work.
Actually, no, ignore all of the above, just keep the strength grabbing the same, but rework the grab list to work with it instead of separately as its own thing. That way, we can add our own blocks and items at our leisure, including mod ones, without changing the behavior of the strength grabbing rule. Here's how I think it can work. At F0-1 the normal strength grabbing rules apply only, once a tornado reaches f3 or larger, the new grablist rule activates, it doesn't override strength grabbing, but it allows the tornado to pick up more blocks than it would with strength grabbing alone. Well, it's an idea anyway
Also, the tornados need to pick up players with more vertical force. They feel too easy to escape from.

A weak F0 missed my base by like 1 mile, no damage was seen, except for grass being turned to dirt.
I'm gonna be staying with 1.7.10 since the newer versions just lag my game, if forge for 1.13.1 releases and this mod gets updated to that version, I hope that the fps issues actually gets fixed.
For the Weather1 mod, could you upload the older versions onto the website? Like the versions where the tornadoes had no particles or when waterspouts were a thing?

MovePlus remains the best movement mod I've ever used.
While others have attempted, such as "Smart Moving", they have a critical flaw that MovePlus does not:
They're all needlessly overcomplicated by requirement of server cooperation or needing special resources like animations.
MovePlus allowed you to do new things with minecraft's existing resources. It was elegant. It was straightforward. It was beautiful.
