How do I change the leaf texture on the Weather mod? (1.5.2)
I went into the provided .zip file and changed them, but the changes don't affect the game.
It there a way I can keep the tornado from destroying only the terrain? I love having the threat of a tornado wrecking my home or damaging my base and its defense wall -- it instills a sense of dread when I hear the siren go off. However, I despise them tearing scars into the landscape. They're ugly, and a tremendous pain to repair (filling in the trenches with dirt and replanting all the trees).
I currently have block damage turned off to keep the above form happening, and whenever a tornado does come it's not remotely scary since my base is safe. =/

Perhaps you could whitelist the block id's that your base and defense wall is made of. For example, if your base is made of wood planks and your wall is made of stone brick, then you would whitelist those ids, and the dirt, trees, and anything else in the terrain would stay safe.
Strange. This mod derps a little on my main world. The tornado is invisible, and breaking a block lags. It respawns, then a second or two later it finally breaks and drops. It's like server lag, but I'm playing single-player. it doesn't do it in any other worlds though.
Perhaps you could whitelist the block id's that your base and defense wall is made of. For example, if your base is made of wood planks and your wall is made of stone brick, then you would whitelist those ids, and the dirt, trees, and anything else in the terrain would stay safe.
It's been almost a half year now, is it all dead? Forge and every mod with it? Nothing is happening anymore.
What are you talking about? Forge 1.7.2 came out like 2 weeks ago or something like that. 1.7 was a very big change so mods are going to take even longer then the 1.4 update. Plus the weather mod was on and might still be on forgecraft, so its not dead.
Is there a way to disable the waves and tornados from the weather mod?I want the increased entity render distance and the wind blowing the leaves, etc. But I don't want tornados destroying my world and waves because I'm using shaders.
Like, what's with the cfg files, there's some that come with the download that supposedly removes tornades and waves but when I run the game it creates a folder instead with 5 cfg files inside of it?What's the purpose of the cfg files that come with the download if there is no cfg file to overwrite with said file?

Hey I have A ANNOYING issue with the tornadoes in weather mod
Ok what is happening is the particles for the tornado and the cloud are not showing iv'e deleted the config and re installed it still no changes can anyone help please
I would like to know how I can remove the frequency of thunder because in the time I was testing I noticed that lightning is generated in one place about 20 rays at the same time and would like to fix it. please help me .
what I want is thunder but not capture, and tornadoes but rarely appear in the game but not as destructive as moderate, because I do not want to Shred the map xD
Not dead yet, been recovering from a knee injury + recent reinjury of it through most of winter, lost a month or 2 of dev time, knee pain is really good at derailing any thought processes, worst winter ever.
Anyways I feel like I'm nearing a point where I can get back to dev consistantly, though not strictly rpgmod dev this time around, I need to work on some of my other mod projects, catchup on 5 months of forum post backlog and push some potential bugfixes etc.
Still on the fence between updating to 1.7 and sticking to 1.6.4 for rpgmods sake, I might just drop the plan to make a 1.6.4 release for rpgmod since its taking sooooooo damn long to finish and just push to 1.7.

This bug seems specific to Tropicraft. If I just install the weather mod by itself, I no longer see this problem. Just FYI.
And Coros rarely visits the forums. So this isn't the best place to get his attention if you have a problem to report.
Don't have tropicraft installed so I guess it isn't a mod specific issue.

I would like to know how I can remove the frequency of thunder because in the time I was testing I noticed that lightning is generated in one place about 20 rays at the same time and would like to fix it. please help me .

what I want is thunder but not capture, and tornadoes but rarely appear in the game but not as destructive as moderate, because I do not want to Shred the map xD

Curse PremiumAnyways I feel like I'm nearing a point where I can get back to dev consistantly, though not strictly rpgmod dev this time around, I need to work on some of my other mod projects, catchup on 5 months of forum post backlog and push some potential bugfixes etc.
Still on the fence between updating to 1.7 and sticking to 1.6.4 for rpgmods sake, I might just drop the plan to make a 1.6.4 release for rpgmod since its taking sooooooo damn long to finish and just push to 1.7.
