did you try to install the audio mod loader? i couldnt get any mods to work until i had tried that. its another mod from risugami and i think i t could help your situation. but thats just what i think.
But how? putting it in minecraft.jar while in rar form?how! thanks :biggrin.gif:
Do you not read instructions? Or do you just go straight to the download link without reading anything. I say modders need to hide the download link and tell them where it is hidden in the post.

sweet thanks!!! :biggrin.gif:
No problem. I had to change all of mine when i had just gotten done with the depreciated ones. Had to go back and redo the overrides again.

im getting this error and im seeing that a lot of people is also, i used a clean .minecraft folder, and the error still appears, it happens in the loading screen, is this getting fixed?, theres tons of mod that require this and i would like to use them, its not a black screen problem, and its not a corrupt minecraft files problem either, so it must be something insisde the code of the mod, aparently the ll.c()V function from pe class
the pe.class is obfuscated :sad.gif: oh well, can someone fix this?
plz help, i've done these steps, and my game kind of crashed, if i login, it is on the updating minecraft thing the whole time on done loading but the game doesn't start, plz help me!!
these are the steps i followed:
Macintosh:
1) Go to Applications>Utilities and open terminal.
2) Type in the following, line by line:
CODE: SELECT ALL
cd ~
mkdir mctmp
cd mctmp
jar xf ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar
3) Outside of terminal, copy the class files into the mctmp directory.
4) Back inside terminal, type in the following:
CODE: SELECT ALL
rm META-INF/MOJANG_C.*
jar uf ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar ./
cd ..
rm -rf mctmp
5) Run Minecraft, enjoy
Theres something called an error report. Everyone can say they followed these steps perfectly but if its stuck at the done loading or black screen we all know you did not. Launch minecraft with the command line. If its a security exception delete the meta folder. If its anything else delete the meta folder. Also if you don't think it is the meta folder delete it.

i read it and put the audiomod files in minecraft in bin and its still says the error
P.S. In the tutorial video it said that you need to open the minecraft.jar in the bin not in the root folder
Obisouly you did not follow instructions. Cause i just installed it and what do you know no crash
Really? I am on a flat 10x20 island That is 1 dirt wide, and I look around and down and there are just normal mobs. IDK what to do, but then again it is nighttime.
Upgrade AudioMod will ya?
Its for 1.2,and its 1.2_02 now
Really huh? Might want to explain to my installation of 1.2_02 that its not allowed to be working as flawlessly as it does with AudioMod. Then again dont. Why confuse it.
Okay, after some tweaking, I can get Minecraft to run 100% of the time with mods installed, but they still won't take effect. I've checked and double checked that I did everything in the first post and the FAQ, but still no results. I'm only running Modloader and Spawner GUI on Windows 7 64-bit. Suggestions?
Oh, nevermid. Somehow, the mod is working again, and I think it had to do with where and in what form I added the files. Before, I added Modloader and Spawner GUI in their own new folders, know I see that you have to add their class files among the other ones and add the spawner gui into the gui folder. I know it's a dumb mistake, but it wasn't mentioned in the first post, and I think it would be a good idea to add it to aviod more confusion and people saying, "OMG ur mod dosent wurk! HLP PLZ! ".
So I'm not the most computer savvy person out there, and it helps if I have details to find certain things and files like this mctmp file, and I want to make sure what I'm doing is correct before I go around deleting and replacing files on my mac further risking damage to it. So I'm asking a few things... one, do I have to download each mod in order to see them in the game or is there a mod pack of some sort the has all of them included? Two, it would help me out a lot if some one would go into detail to where to find the files necessary to allow the installation of the mods, mod installers, and everything else related to them (yes I did read the whole post and I understand most of the instructions). Three, ... well I had another question but I can't remember but I'm sure I will find more. But if someone were to help me out that would be fantastic.
Thanks.

To install a mod you use 7zip.exe to open both the minecraft.jar (its a Java ARchive) and the mods archive file open. You drag everything from the mod archive directly into the minecraft.jar archive and dont move anything anywhere besides that. This is standard for every mod in existance. When there are exceptions they give details to those exceptions as they might add things that go into the .mineecraft/Resources folder instead of inside the minecraft.jar.
Everytime i use mods the game crashes everyonce and a while and it is pissing me off! I want to use mods but the retarted game wont let me bvuild something epic without a crash!

you cant use 7zip.exe because youre on a mac, i do think 7z has some sort of thing that works the same for mac, however: it seems that you are using the installation instructions that go through terminal. if you're wondering what mctmp is in that installation, its the temporary folder that is created to house the files from minecraft.jar, it can be found in your home folder (the folder with your name on it), it doesnt even necessarily have to be called mctmp, its just a random folder that you create and use, then get rid of. if you need to I can provide the steps of that installation process so that it explains what is happening for each thing you type into terminal

No, I just updated a few days ago. It works fine (but EXTREMELY LAGGY) online on the site.
Also, the mobs just won't spawn for some reason.

What kind of masochist would use a mac and NOT insist on having Parallels running? (or equiv) Then again Id never use a mac period so moot point.
