Did you throw it in the .jar? It has to go in the .jar for it to work properly. That's why it's throwing this error. I think.

I tried downloading modloader. A couple of weeks ago everything worked out fine. But today when i tried to install it on my mac with the commands given to put in terminal it deleted 100GB of my data, i closed terminal in order to prevent it for deleting more data. I have no idea why it happened and can somone help me? or is al my data just gone...?
A step by step what i did.
With the first command i opened the 'mctemp' folder and putted in the modloader files.
Then i accidentally dragged the 'mctemp' folder to my desktop and dragged it back to the place were it belongs.
I tried the command which should close the 'mctemp' folder but it didn't close (Im 100% sure i copied and pasted it the right way)
After it didn't close i dragged the mctemp folder on my desktop and tried to open it again with the command. ( it thought that this would just open a new mctemp folder and that i had too install modloader again.) Apparently all the folders in 'application data' were deleting and all my files which were on my desktop as well as all the files in my 'Documents'.
I hope you guys understand what i'm trying to say.. And maybe can help me?..
I dont know if its just me I installed the arrow mod and after i shoot it always changes slots AKA switches off the arrow slot

How about you post a error log next time you report a problem. That way we are able to help you.

Giants are still valid mobs in the game. They just can't be spawned via spawners. A hacked Spawn Egg, however, can easily spawn a Giant.

Use the texture patcher to install mods, easier, especially on macs, and you don't have to fool around with all that terminal stuff.

well as it turns out i missed like 2 files when i downloaded mod loader it works fine now
