Is there something wrong with the modloader? because whenever I try and install it (I didn't do anything wrong because ive installed previous versions no problem) I simply just get an error message, why?
Modloader works fine when you install it correctly.
well now i dont even get an error report all i get is a black screen
i read on the thing about removing mods and it said to delete the version folder thing, which one is that, i know its under the bin but which one of them there is 5 of them?
There are two places mods can be installed, the jar file and the mods folder. Find the mods folder and delete everything in it. To get a clean jar file, run the launcher and hit the options button and click the force update button.

I don't know, a couple of those, animal bikes & dragon mounts, don't say they are specifically for 1.1 minecraft. Be sure they are all up to date. If so, find modloader.txt in your minecraft folder and post that, it might have more info.
Concerning the Spawner GUI mod - I'd like to ask whether there is a way how to restrict certain creatures to be selectable with the gui... ??
The mod is great, but being able to spawn endermans, blazes and other rare mobs is too much cheating for me.
I am looking at the source code... Let's say I would like to be only able to chose chickens, pigs, cows and sheeps, how should I edit the "GuiMobSpawner.java"? I am pretty much unfamiliar with the Minecraft code.
You won't get an answer to that here, try the IRC channel in the OP.
PLEASE HELP!! I can not get my mod loader to work. i have read the thread and watched videos and tried heaps of stuff and it still wont work! i could install mods fine before 1.0, but now i have narrowed the problem down to modloader. i always get the error

I love this mod to death and found so many uses for them.
Fire Arrows for setting off tnt traps.
Explosive Arrows for mining huge holes or removing features of the landscape quickly.
Egg arrows are great for making chicken farms and stuffing chickens in the walls of my friends houses. "where is that clucking coming from?!?"
Lightning arrows for trolling friends with charged creepers or sudden zombie pigmen where their pigs used to be.
But the ice arrow seems to have no real good use. It can put out fires in a small area, freeze water, or ruin a pool of lava, but as an actual arrow its lacking, the explosive arrow kills most mobs outright, the fire arrow sets them on fire and they die. Can the ice arrow be made to do more damage to creatures immune to fire/lava like the nether creatures or something? I used to use the Ice arrows to freeze water to bring it to the nether, but that's not possible anymore unless I'm in creative mode.
Also why don't they launch out of dispensers? They only fall. Is it possible to fix that or was this on purpose?

Feb 17, 2012 10:43:56 PM ModLoader AddAllRenderers
FINE: Initialized
So I have modloadermp and forge loading through modloader.
Before you say, 'wait, that doesn't work!' I also have modloadermp and forge in the minecraft.jar. Plus I copied the contents of modloader's contents in server, specifically that bloody base file, to the root directory as well, just to be safe.
Still nothing.
TO be fair, i have no idea if this is related to redpower or not. But I've run out of other ideas, to be honest.
In short:
*Add ModLoader to minecraft.jar
*Ad ModLoaderMP1.1 (bukkit port)
*Add Forge (bukkit port)
*Add RedPower Core/Wiring to Mods
That fails, so
*Add ModLoaderMP1.1 and Forge to Mods
That fails as well, so
*Add contents of net/minecraft/server to root of minecraft.jar

That fails, so
*Add ModLoaderMP1.1 and Forge to Mods

Yummy bacon!
Modloader works fine when you install it correctly.
Post modloader.txt (in your minecraft folder) or use this to get an error report:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/22096331/debug/minecrafterrortest.bat
or this
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/533027-tool-minecrafterror/
Then maybe we'll have enough information to help.
Use the texture patcher to install mods
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/232701-100-11w49aupdate-128-mcpatcher-hd-fix-223/
There are two places mods can be installed, the jar file and the mods folder. Find the mods folder and delete everything in it. To get a clean jar file, run the launcher and hit the options button and click the force update button.
If you want to try installing mods after that, use the texture patcher, follow the video in that thread
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/232701-100-11w49aupdate-128-mcpatcher-hd-fix-223/

I don't know, a couple of those, animal bikes & dragon mounts, don't say they are specifically for 1.1 minecraft. Be sure they are all up to date. If so, find modloader.txt in your minecraft folder and post that, it might have more info.
You won't get an answer to that here, try the IRC channel in the OP.
Something is looking for modloaderMP, bet you didn't clean out your mods folder.

To tell them how to live is to prevent them living.

Please Help!!!
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: BaseModMp
I know everyone in the world has hit this problem, and the number one solution is to add ModLoaderMP.

Thoughts?

Yummy bacon!
You deleted META-INF?
I don't know, other people get it to work fine, you must be installing it wrong. Be sure to copy over the folders as well as the class files when installing. Or use the texture patcher to install mods
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/232701-100-11w49aupdate-128-mcpatcher-hd-fix-223/
I think you also need to install the client modloadermp from here
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/182918-11smp-flans-mods-planes-ww2-guns-vehicles-playerapi-moods-mputils-teams/
That has to be installed into the jar file, not the mods folder.
I have no idea if it's even compatible with multiplayer. Ask on the server forum, maybe someone there would know.
Post modloader.txt (in your minecraft folder) or use this to get an error report:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/22096331/debug/minecrafterrortest.bat
or this
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/533027-tool-minecrafterror/
Then maybe we'll have enough information to help.
