ModLoader 1.21
A mod, kind of like a mod manager, that stops conflicts with mods that alter rendering, recipes, add entities, gui, smeltables or fuel. If you're a modder, feel free to decompile this and learn how to make mods work with it. Inherit BaseMod and override any functions as necessary. The mod's main class file should be prefixed with 'mod_'.
I'm assuming the main class file is the largest one then? but it is already prefixed with "mod", just not "mod_" so should it be mod_modclass or just modclass?
and either way would it take that long to just add the necessary prefix and reupload it?

Sorry for the double post, but I realize now it must be added to base.class.. so look man, I get the arrow mod file, and the mod organizer thing, I dont feel like finding the name of it, so I MANUALLY, because 7zip sucks and it cant handle longer filepaths, so I drag and drop every single file into minecraft.jar, in Appdata/roaming/.minecraft the base file begins with mod_ when I do that, minecraft doesn't work, and it's frozen at the loading screen, namely, when it says done loading.
then I delete meta_inf, at some random suggestion, and now I just get a black screen, the mod files for the arrows, change nothing.
Windows vista is the OS, 34 bit.
I'm at the point where i've been trying to get this to work for about a week. You ever get to the point where you just want to curse?
If anyone has any help, let me know please.

You don't rename anything. Apply it just as downloaded. It's worded a little funny, but that's for modders/coders. You just put the files into your .jar and delete the META-INF folder, and you should be fine.

-BaseMod.class
-bq.class
-dy.class
-el.class
-fo.class
-jf.class
-lo.class
-mi.class
-ModLoeader.class
-eggarrow.class
-exarrow.class
-firearrow.class
-icearrow.class
-kp.class
-lq.class
-mod_Arrows.class
-gui (folder with items.png inside)
Just place all of these into your minecraft.jar, replacing any of the ones already there, delete the META-INF folder, and run Minecraft. Voila, you should be able to craft special arrows. Hope that helps. :smile.gif:
EDIT 2: Make sure to delete the "version" file in your bin folder (same place where minecraft.jar is found) and run Minecraft in order to download a clean set of files before trying to mod again.
Just wanted to say thanks for the more stackables mod, it really irritated me that food would take up so many slots on my icon bar which does the same thing as just stacking them. The way that I use it is to not stack more than 1 less than the total available slots in the icon bar, in this way all I'm doing is removing having to press a couple buttons and have the convenience of them not taking up all my hot bar slots for what I see as an uneeded inconvenience.

Alright man, I tried it, and I even tried the downloaded .exe of minecraft, to see if that worked, it didn't, the first time, everything ran well, but no arrows were craftable.. the second time, with a fresh .jar I noticed firearrow.class was spelled fierarrow.class, or something, so I "fixed" that, put em in the .jar, made sure they were in there, and deleted the META-INF folder, then it went back to the ever popular black screen. no loading bar or nothing.

So I downloaded and put the elemental arrows and the elemental arrows mod and then put the things in the minecraft.jar file I also then made sure I deleted the META-INF folder but I went into the game and I tried the recipes but I can't seem to get them to work

my game runs fine, but I dont drop and chests when I die. (cliffs, arrows ect)
It was the only mod I had installed at first, but then I added a second mod (chest related, but a diffrent class file and should be compatible) and the other mod (chest store items when touched, or something like that) works just fine

It also doesn't work if you get killed by explosives (Creeper, Ghast, TNT gone awry....). The explosion goes on for like half a second after it kills you, and destroys the chest that gets dropped.
I have tried everything that i could find on the forums. I deleted META and installed the mod loader and uninstalled and reinstalled the arrow addon and reset my minecraft by deleting version and redeleted META out of that and reinstalled the arrows and mod loader and still get the ever so wonderful black screen. please help im sooooo lost now.
Edit: well I downloaded the newest arrows mod and my comp wont crash but the arrows will not work D:< thats the angriest face I can make. i wanna stab my computer with a blunt object.
can you please explain to me where exactly you get the light levels? i tried to look at your mods for examples but no dice, code was a little to scrambled for me. =[ please help? i thought the light levels were ment to be in a blocks extra data ie, Block.getData ( since im using hey0s mod atm ) but it only returns a int... which doesnt seem to be a light levle =/

I was so excited for the mod, and already knew what it did becuase of word of mouth, that I missed the

Uses normal sprite. Didn't feel like making another yet. Wasn't even sure If I wanted to release it really.
Slime fix is unnecessary. Not sure why Notch hasn't added slime back to spawn list though.
What I meant was to make it so the slime fix adds slimes back to the spawn list.
