if you leave the mod enabled when playing a 'normal' world on a different save will the sphere generator take over when generating new chunks in the normal world?
you definitely need to disable the mod before loading another world, unless you like the effect, it's kind of neat, the first sphere I found in one of my worlds was right against a cliff face so you could walk right into it. But most of the time it just looks. . . wrong. haha
Could someone please explain what the values in the cfg file for Biosphere mean?
I understand its to let you change certain aspects of the mod but before I go into
it and change values I need a little help please :smile.gif:
Biosphere Beta 1.5_01
This is a new generator. It replaces the surface generator. In this generator, the world is made up of massive spheres with glass domes.
Wait, if I apply this mod, ALL of my saves will be affected? When I remove the mod, will the worlds be the same as it was before?
I am sorry if somebody already asked but what if you don't have a meta-inf folder ?
D:
If you dont have the META-INF folder, then ur fine. You mustve deleted it b4 or somethin. U must delete it if you have it, otherwise u get a black screen at launcher

any new terrain generated will be replaced with the spheres, unless you turn it off.
so the worlds you have would be the same, up until you explore something new.

yep, what he said.
It's rather amazing imo. Walk straight to explore new lands in old worlds and generate a new chunk. After generating, BAM! the world is cut in half and replaced with spheres!
i just installed mod_loader, elemental arrows, the mob spawner changer nd the builder mobs one..
when i log into Minecraft, it takes a second to load, nd says minecraft has crashed, nd it shuts down.
im new at this, so is there any way u culd help me figure this crap out?
Hey will this be made into an external generator like the ones here so i can use them for my server it would be great. Because i think if i generate them in single player then move the world to my server when someone explores enough it will start generating normal world right?
grid : distance between spheres
bridge_size : ... bridge size =P
bridge_rail : block type of the rails
bridge_support : block type of the support
enabled : enable/disable the biosphere mod
special : size of the mini floating balls
dome : block type of the domes
lavaLevel : ... I don't see the changes ...
noise : flat world if you set it to false

This has actually been explained multiple times, look on the previous page.
with mossy and a mob spawner in the very center.
