Hi, i have problem with Recipe Book mod, when i try to craft book it disappears from crafting about 1 sec after i place all materials, but if im quick enought to "loot" it i have "End of Stream" error and got dced from server :/
The server you are connecting to does not have Recipe Book mod installed so when you craft it on your client the client makes it and informs the server which has no clue what it is and it removes the unknown object. Servers and clients have to match.

Rei's minimap was the only thing I could get working at the time, which I got working through the Magic Launcher that placed that mod in the right place. Then I got annoyed with 1.6.1, so I attempted to make a new folder through the Magic Launcher to use my 1.5.1 jar again and play that. But I was having issues with that too, because the 1.6.1 launcher added a new 'environment' slot which I don't properly know how to change.
But after messing with that, I think it did exactly what you said, changing the default and it totally killed the one mod that was working. Now nothing's working, and I'm not sure how to fix it.
Also...wasn't the very reason Mojang did all this was to make it easier and to be able to change the default around, so people could change their games with modded ones? If you can't change that around, it defeats the entire thing they did in the first place.
I have the same issue. I've tested to see what would happen if I removed ModLoader. When Modloader is installed, 90% of the time sound is not heard from the game. Any fixes or feedback is greatly appreciated.
It's so funny how Mojang says that madding will now be easier, however it's now become literally a Hellcage of Terror. XD Nice job Mojang, but to be serious this is a serious bug for people that play on survival and need to hear for mobs coming.
What is the name of the theme are you using on the spawner GUI picture?
The Spawner GUI picture has always been the same ever since its came out. It's the same picture for each update of the mod, and for all we know it could be the theme to the mod itself.

My patch prevents an instance of the sound system from being created while another is also being started. I have done minimal testing on this, so feedback would be greatly appreciated. When I try installing Biospheres Mod with Magic Launcher or the default way the generator setting doesn't appear in the "More World Options" tab in Create a World, is anyone else having or had this problem but fixed it, please tell me.

Is anyone else getting a bug where mods that edit the HUD like Rei's Minimap and Whats My Light Level do not work on servers? They work on clients for me, but they do not show up or even load on servers.
EDIT: just tested, the mods work fine without modloader.
EDIT2: And they work if a SP world is loaded first.
Hi, i'm having this problem, when i add modloader to the magic launcher mods list, or even when I install it manually, minecraft doesn't work, i mean, it opens the windows saying with the big Mojang logo, but suddenly it closes. This only happens when I add modloader to MC, help please :c

That's what I am using too. You put ModLoader and then the patch?
I had ModLoader installed via Magic Launcher, unless you meant that I had to install ModLoader manually into the jar
