I just started a new build, and I think it would be interesting to share you the whole project, it means thinkings and documents I produce about it.
So, there it is the build :
SEUS v11.0 shaderpack
There is a whole background story which justify this form I shall tell you another day (it is not wrote yet...). Anyway, you can see this arch looks like a boat ready to start. It is also the combination of two volume : one parallelepiped and the "arch". I build it in a diagonal way because I think it makes the building more dynamic, which increase the impression the boat ready to start. Obviously, the lodge stand near water, but also trees, in a plain. Actually, the plain is very well placed because there are mountains near it, so there are a few elements in a small place creating a nice environment.
I will add more infos and picture all along the project, but that is enough for this time. Read you soon!
The terrain is from pta24 PL, you can download it here.
There are some pages I draw and note on it to clear my vision of the project :
You can see there are some information allowing you to get a better understanding of the project. There are some tries for the shape of the builds and some slight notes to keep my mind clear during the project.
I also updated the PMC project where you can see some other IG screenshots.
I have some issue to upload the actual map. Anyway, I will be able to upload it not lather than Sunday.
There are some notes about the Great Temple, at floor 1. As far as it stand in the second volume, I decided to build it in a very contemporary way. I do not know yet which idea is the best between remind the boat itself in this room, or remind the sea. Well, there are two rooms on this floor, so I can also remind both ideas in the different rooms.
I recently updated this PMC page. The project is now almost done.
Here are some notes about the project, the concepts leading it and the Great Temple. As well as the room decoration in the parallelepiped are quit ancient and massive, I wanted to create a proper atmosphere for the rooms in the "arch" part of the building.
Inspired by the terrain, and the idea of a saving arch, I keep both ideas about the sky and the water in the shapes. I still have to finish the library, but it is already in this pure "moving" style, got trying to remind the move of the water in a river.
