We are visiting the forums almost every day to answer private messages and to update our post. New screenshots are added occasionally because we don't want to show every part of the map straightaway. Of course those percentages can't represent how much time we are investing for certain things. That's why they aren't updated that much. But sometimes we just correct little text passages or make the post more aesthetically pleasing.
Our progress is hard to express. Let's say, the map is finished but it isn't playable yet. The building process is basically done. There are just some little things we are correcting from time to time because we were building something in the past which we are building differently today, almost 3 and a half years later. Here is our little building ToDo-List:
- fill up the spaces between routes (with forests, mountains or seas)
- make some water areas prettier
- rework the houses you have to pass to reach another route or city
- lugia, ho-oh spawn area
- ruins of alph
- Goldenrod tunnel
- Pokeathlon (we will see if that's really neccessary)
- some Gyms
- the flooded version of the Lake of Rage
- the Spawnpoint of Rayquaza/Kyogre/Groudon on Route 47
As you can see, there is not much to do anymore.
The next step would be balancing the map in terms of PokéSpawns and to implement our own storyline we have already written. We don't really know how to do it yet due to Minecrafts limited possibilities. We could use that NPC mod but we don't really want the players to install more mods than Pixelmon and its Sidemods. Pixelmon has a kind of a NPC Creator included which works perfectly fine for traders, healers, trainers or shopkeepers. There are also NPCs you can talk to, however they can't move around or give you something like a quest for example.
All in all the only thing we currently need is someone who can help us finding a solution for that problem. We don't really know how much is possible using redstone nowadays since we don't really follow Minecrafts updates anymore.
We will enter a little testing period when we have the solution. Our plan was to get some people together on a Discord Channel to join our Minecraft server we are building on. Sending each tester the map doesn't really make sense in our opinion because it seems kind of retarded to give our unfinished map to random people on the internet.
Every tester should rate the map and make a few suggestions for improvement of certain areas which may not be that good looking for example.
Redstoners are definitely the people we are really searching for in the next couple of months.

Well, there is some sad news. Pixelmon has ended its development due to the Pokémon Company giving them a strike or something like that. Nobody actually knows.
So, will we continue building our map? Probably yes. Can we guarantee that it will be playable with the mod? - We got no idea. If the mod is still able to be downloaded within the next few weeks, there is not really a problem for us since the first 3 generations are fully included in the current Pixelmon version.
However, if the mod can't be downloaded anywhere in the future, we will just end our building process and give you guys a download link for it nevertheless. We just don't want to throw that project into the bin. If you can't play the Pixelmon Mod with the map you could atleast watch our work and do some rollplay stuff for example.

I don't really think that a petition will change anything. But I am quite sure that the community will keep the mod alive! I also kept the latest version of it on my PC because it's such a fun mod! The worst thing for our map building process is, that we don't have the sidemods which are used to make mapmaking a little easier. If we can get this mods somehow we will continue building.
hey. there still deving pixelmon btw. wanna let you know about that. reason why it was took down (what ive bin told.) is because they were accepting donation's. i gess thats a lesson to learn. but i cant wait for your project to be releced. mainly what i want to see is johto and kanto finished first as well the pixelmon spawn scripts or whatever you make pixelmon spawn before you ship it out. after that its up tou you. but please finish it. if not, sent it to me i will try my best to make it work.
