I'm working to make a CTM map (Complete the Monument), and I decided that it would be cool to, instead of grueling over it for hours on end, I could ask the community to help me make this! I will credit everyone involved, and you(and any friends you want) can make your own levels. Any help is appreciated. No deadline(preferably a month-ish, but I understand)
GUIDELINES
60x60 bedrock box, build your level inside.
Build the level as complex as you want, within these constraints.
DO NOT build something at the bottom of the box. Fill the box, making a new environment.
comment your theme idea(jail/library/jungle/castle/etc.), the difficulty, and you number of exits before you create your level. I will reply with loot types/etc. you may put in your level.
To see more how I am wanting to do it, look at Minimalist[2]
HOW TO SUBMIT
Example comment:
"Hi! I want to build one! I am going to make a demonic fairy wonderland, with 2 exits. Hard difficulty."
If you want to make an intersection, feel free to do so. Follow the above rules, but make sure to have 4 bridges from the center to the four walls.
FAQ
Are we limited to what resources we can use? i.e. no water, no grass, etc.
The only limits you have are, depending on the level, no(or minimal)ores and cobble. This is so that tools are scarce. I will tell you what supplies you can provide after you give me a theme/difficulty.
How do you want to enclose the wool?
Wool can be enclosed however you like, just make it identifiable.
Are we limited to using certain mobs? What about custom mobs?
No. In fact, custom mobs are encouraged. Feel free to use them how you like, as long as it matches the difficulty of your level.
What about command blocks?
Command blocks are welcome(cover any command blocks with bedrock) , but don't to too many special effects.
Are exits considered entrances, or is there an entrance regardless of the number of exits?
think of it this way: X= the level O=exits/entrances P=intersections
XXX P XXX
OXOP P POXX
XOX P XXX
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If that doesnt make any sense, Yes, entrances are exits, but entrance is your preffered 'starting point' of the level. So if you say '3 exits' one of those would be an entrance.
