Yeah, still waiting on episode 5's release. You'd think they'd have released it a month ago... but it's still not out.
So as I said last month, once that's released I'll play it then continue the build.
you should add a download link for all the mods in the map,cuz i just cant find the correct version of customNPCs,
plz add a link,or just which version of the mod it is
good work on the map anyways
BTW the game crashes when I try to eat porkchops? rly weird
im playing 1.8 forge, and things are spawning, a creeper blown up the path
also I do not think minecraft story mode takes place in 1.9
some essential 1.9 updates has not been seen in MCSM
eg.
Added new mob Sheker (not sure if this spelling is correct)
Added Shields
Added Potion arrows (eg arrow of poison, arrow of healing)
Added new effect :Levitation, players or mobs effected will, start to float upwards from the ground, this can allow flying in vanilla survival, unlike jump boosts, you still would take fall damage
potion of levitation and arrow of levitation can be obtained from a command block
none of these things is seen in MCSM
And the obvious proof that 1.8
its the COMMAND BLOCK TEXTURE UPDATE
in MCSM,it is showing a 1.8 or earlier command block,1.9 has a slight different command block texture
also 1.9 is released to public in a experimental version

Yeah, that's pretty wierd. I'll have to fix it.

That's true. But we do see the ender dragon head. So it did borrow some things from 1.9. Still, it would be hard to place a version number on something with so many exclusive blocks, items, mobs, etc.

It does seem to predate 1.9 but as said above it has the ender dragon head and exclusive stuff.

Well, if we wanna be technical here the 1.8- command block never had flashing lights on each side. Something which I'm pretty sure 1.9 has. Although the 1.8 ones still look more accurate. And many different things are retextured or remodeled such as the chests and doors. So we can't really make any call here.
TL;DR
MC Story Mode has its own physics and items/blocks/mobs. It doesn't fit anywhere on the timeline.
That mean i need some mod to make it work correctly right ? if you finish it please tell people what mod they need and another question is it will be only 1 episode per map or this map will have all episode ?

1. No, mods are optional.
2. I did tell them several times, and in the OP. It's Custom NPCs.
3. All in one. Unless you want me to split em up. But that will break leveling progression.
ep 5 is out now maybe you make first map with 5 ep. and then look like some kind of portal room then you should split them maybe have 2 ep. or make them really far away from another place
a the part with the build contest you can have the player click in chat the build option and use the /clone command for the different builds you can make. like underground will be all three options (maybe more you come up with) and a command block will do the /clone command and copy that build up to the top area.

Very good point here. I don't know if I should join season two (ep 5-?) and season 1 together. If I did, it would be fun to keep the stuff you got early on and continue progression. If I didn't, I could have an entirely different progression system entirely. I'll decide that when I get there, probably the former as to make the save have enough gameplay to justify investing yourself in it. And as you said, they would be far apart.

Anything that high level with command blocks is beyond me. I know it could be done, easily with a ton of command blocks, replacing the air cords. But I have never touched /clone commands. Furthermore, the build at endercon is the creeper while the build at the endercon build site is the enderman. The zombie will make a cameo.

how about underground for ep 6-7 ? then you don't need much space for them and can go to place you want with ease
the /clone command is easy when you know how it works, you do /clone x,y,z cords then another set of xyz cords to select the area between them and then a final set of xyz for the lotation you want to clone it to. the location will relative to a command bloc or player it will me the cords for the first cordinate that its relative yo( if you the ~ for the location relative to the command block)
example: find a desert temple and get the cords for a bottom corner or it, then go to the top corner on the other side, that is the area you will be cloning then do a therd set of cords that can simply be ~ ~ ~ or ~ ~1 ~ ect. it will exactly copy the temple to the set cords, all the blocks will be the same, any block nbt tags will be copied(like text on a sign or items in a chest) just note this will overwrite any blocks in the way of the clone location.
edit: also know that the command can clone at most 30k blocks i beleve, and includes lava water and air to that total.
edit(again): also if you want to make it simple then place a command block nere the object you want to clone and set the command to /clone ~ ~1 ~ ~20 ~10 ~20 ~ ~90 ~ this will copy an area 20x20 and 10 blocks high that is next to the command block within the relative cords, and place the clone 90 blocks above the command block. hope this helps kinda hard to explain it in a way you would understand honestly

doesn't one of the episodes after 5 have an area in a sky city? (haven't played that part yet only played 1-3) so he can just go to an area and make it all air right from top to bottom and build the area there this will also make the command block easier to access

But the thing is, adding an active redstone circuit with a fireworks dispenser goes a step further. I'm positive it's doable, but I doubt it will be easy. The basic builds will be easy but the complicated ones- not so much.

Huh? I thought episode 5 was the most recent one. I'm confused right now. XD

well ep 5 is in the sky but have to a bit far from main map to avoid skyland shadow and have space for thing below after that they go to portal but they go to portal room ton of portal and light source are just portal light and ground light. no ceiling light
Currently, neither version does. But it won't because it will be more of a check it out sort of thing than a play it sort of thing. Vanilla, that is.
Gonna revive this. Any progress updates?

But how would anyone who knows they're bad at English know for sure whether or not they wrote it gramatically correct?

how you will set wither storm A.I. ?
1. Use a MC Story Mode Mod for storm
2. Use custom npcs to customize storm
3. Profit
