No problem. I'll upload some later today. Give me 5 hours.
Telltale doesn't even use that many vanilla textures, as I have discovered. And it's not just the lighting. In fact, upon close inspection, I have found many many blocks that don't match up with vanilla ones by any means. Therefore, I would like to deem in betweens as interprative. I could make an oak version too if you like for screenshots, but it would not look as cool or accurate from the player of a map's standpoint. Still thank you for pointing that out, but I won't change that particular detail.
Ok, take your time! And no, you don't have to trouble yourself more than you need to. It's fine the way it is.
I have a question about the maps: can we convert them from the story mode into the actual game?
No. Reason being, the environments are handled in totally different ways. And the environments would only be what the screen displays and thus would be incomplete, even if it were loaded like a MC world.
So basically conversion would be impossible if not done by hand.
Hey, I'm just wondering about the stained glass. I can't identify them. Mind naming the colours (in order)?
P.S. Thanks a lot! I needed to find an accurate version of the rainbow beacon but when I searched it up, there's practically none. And good luck with this project! I read this article a few days back and I'm impressed that you took the initiative to start up this project. This is really cool and I can't wait to hear about the final version of the map. You are welcome with the help I provided.

That's the only detail we can not see in virtually any angle of the build. So I made assumptions as to most of them, pretty sure the bottom two were the only ones we saw and the top was somewhere indistinguishably between pink and red. Can't remember the others I used though. In the build from the screenshot you provided in which you make the decision which has the ocelots actually win endercon, they used different glass colors because the top and middle block are obviously different. This is likely because moving the build from the competition to endercon would require deconstruction/reconstruction, and glass blocks cannot drop when broken.

Just doing it for the community. Although I build a substantial amount of the city hosting Endercon, I'm holding off until episode 5 to touch the map again. Because I believe there is a slight possibility the plot will involve revisiting old areas. Especially the treehouse to put the legendary armor in the armor stand. Although it is unlikely due to the storm rending everything to pieces, it could still happen.
Dude, that Axell looks AWESOME!!! how did you make him?
I got the skin using planet minecraft and spawned an npc with the custom npcs mod's npc wand. Then I copied the skin's url and pasted it in the skin's tab. Then I entered the model editor and stretched him out to look as large as he is in story mode.
But the textures might help in the conversion, right?
Yeah. They would. If we could datamine them somehow. Then we can finally make out wood types and get the textures of story mode's unique blocks (like the windows and armor).
Yes. Unfortunately, it is. Unless someone can write a program that generates it based on MSM environments, which would be very complicated and perhaps even more difficult. If at all possible given the way it's all rendered...
Do you seriously want to make exact replica of MCSM map? It's not even possible to convert mcsm to minecraft format, it must be rebuilt by hand but, you dont have to do the wilderness part where Jesse is searching Reuben...What I'd like to see is ep2, ep3 and ep4 stuff
Yes, of course. Someone's gotta do it. FYI, I already finished that part lol.
And I don't necessarily have to do it in order. Of the stone.
Any version. Preferably forge 1.8, but if you run vanilla it might still work. Because all custom npcs adds are npcs and banners. So most of the world will remain.

Here you go:
Make sure the repeaters are set that way specifically, and then it should work out all right.
I noticed there's a beam at the back of the build. It's the same level where Lukas is jumping.
And the second screenshot has a red sandstone block at the top left corner rather than a wood block.
Thanks for the observations. I'll fix those mistakes soon.
Thank you so much! I'll put it to use.

Which means it could be virtually anything. Reconstruction, exploration, sandbox (limited), filler, sidequests, etc. So I have no real idea.

sounds cool if only i had a good pc \=
same here.

Nice map man!! I hope you'll finish it soon!!

What is the needed Version of Minecraft to play?
Any version. Preferably forge 1.8, but if you run vanilla it might still work. Because all custom npcs adds are npcs and banners. So most of the world will remain.
Will the unmodded version have barrier blocks in it?
