However, I edited the castle, as a bunch of blocks were missing when I converted the world from Adventure Craft to Vanilla 1.8 Minecraft. I also did all of the redstone.
I have started work on Super Mario 64 in Minecraft! I enjoyed playing the map made for the Adventure Craft mod, and I decided, "why not update it to 1.8? Most of the Adventure Craft features are now in Minecraft."
So, I have completed the entire level Bob-omb Battlefield (excluding the level 'Mario Wings in the Sky', and to my knowledge, they work near flawlessly, but I still haven't fully tested the map. There will be a bunch of bugs, so let me know below, and I will try and fix them. I will be releasing (hopefully) weekly updates, or whenever I feel like a new feature I have been working on is complete enough to release, so check the form every so often!
Koopa the Quick (in villager form, of course)
Peach's Castle, completely built (Switch to creative after you complete the levels and take a tour)
Custom Resource Pack (Edited from the Adventure Craft map's textures)
And most of important: COMPLETELY VANILLA! NO MODS REQUIRED!
Most of the Redstone
Planned Features Some form of Chain Chomp
Goomba's gold, regening your health
Open the .zip, move the folder to you saves folder in .minecraft, and the other .zip to your resource packs folder in your .minecraft
Wow! This looks like an amazing map! I tried to do the same thing you did with the AdventureCraft map Zelda Adventure, but as you said, most of the blocks didn't convert correctly, so I didn't finish it. I'll definitely play this map when it's finished, though!
Amazing! I will Definitely play it when it is done! I have always liked these type of maps where someone has created a real life game, a TV show or a movie in minecraft. I am always looking for these maps. Keep up the good work, I can't wait to play this.
The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.
Looks promising! Maybe I could help with the cannons and pressure plates? An actual gate below the 2nd bridge would be amazing. Plus, Koopa the Quick doesn't work because the baby zombie Goombas keep attacking the villager. Also, the sounds don't work because worlds themselves don't use custom sounds; resource packs do. Sound good?
I'm currently working on this map as a hobby, so I won't be needing any help atm.
There are no pressure plates. Command blocks detect the player using the /Testfor command.
The cannon is a little buggy, but I should be able to fix it with the new command blocks in the snapshots.
I do plan on adding a working gate below the second bridge, and it should be coming out soon.
Koopa the Quick isn't supposed to run, there's a zombie holding the power star at the top of the hill for you.
I know the sounds don't work. I took the old Adventurecraft map, which had the sounds in the world folder and used that, so I'm still in the process of moving everything around and getting rid of things I don't need.
