Now, I'd like to talk about an adventure map I've been working on for a while now. This map is called SironiaCraft, and it's a massive (well, it will be) adventure map, where you can either play by the storyline, or just forget the story and run wherever you please.
Below is the backstory for the map.
You play as Nick, a 17 year old orphan who lives with his adoptive brother Jesse. Nick lives in a small town called The Villages. Nick was always fascinated with myths and stories of the gods, and found out about a sword called the Godsword. The Godsword was part of one of the most well-known legends about the war between the goddess Amy and an evil god named Agnis. Agnis had overthrown Amy, but a man named Jin Jon Joe was secretly working with Amy to destroy Agnis. Jin managed to hear some of Agnis's plans one day. Amy had given the Godsword to Jin, and when Agnis was least expecting anything to happen to him, Jin destroyed Agnis. But before Agnis died, he had cursed Amy, and so Amy withered away until she was nothing more than a ball of light.
Now, when the story starts, Agnis has been brought back to a physical form by his followers, and he is planning an attack on Sironia City, the capital of the land the story takes place in. Much more of the story is revealed as the map progresses.
The map is intended to be for 1 or more players. You will have to play the map for a bit as 1 player before you can play with friends. At a certain point, you'll unlock a multiplayer kit room where other players can choose kits pertaining to a certain character in the story.
Now, I'd like to talk about what features this map will have.
Hundreds of quests with rewards! Loot Chests hidden in places that contain good items like food and weapons! Named armor and weapons!
And much more. This project is intended to take a very long time considering its size. But at times, I'm going to need help and feedback so I can improve the map. Below are some screenshots of the work I've already done. As you can see, the map is not at all close to being finished.
That's an area called Farein Hills.
That's the center of the town.
And this is the area you see when you walk out the North Gate.
So tell me what you think! Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.
NOTE: This map is currently being made in 1.6.2 using WorldEdit. When landscaping and whatnot is finished, I will switch the current update and touch up on some things, like adding command block stuffs and building a bit more with the new blocks.
