Introduction and about me
Feel free to skip this section
Hello there everyone! My name is BlakBackJK and am a somewhat expert redstoner and amateur map maker, and by amateur I mean I've never finished one. I stopped development on the 2nd iteration of Shylo I due to some errors in the map and stuff. I had trouble fixing it and decided to just start over. We weren't that far anyways.
So basically, here's the blurb of the book, if you know what I mean. "A meteor has fallen! It has left a mighty hole of red rock, fire and death. A portal to the underworld was spotted spewing out evil from deep inside the crater. The mayor of Birch Village has sent you to eliminate the evil presence emanating from the Forest Shrine, he will reward you for your efforts. Afterwards, who knows what will happen?"
The map will include some cool features including:
-Custom World Made with WorldPainter
-Custom Villager Shops
-Powerful Custom Weapons
-A Huge(but finite) World to Explore 2048x2048 blocks. Woo.
Well, so I don't spoil a lot, I will be showing the game progress in chapters with 'sub-sections' if you will, inside the chapters. Hope that makes sense.
End of Chapter 1
King of Shylo
Snowy Mountain Thing

I also plan on making a sequel on this someday. byebye.
Today was a bad day for this map. Hopped into 14w25b after messing around with other worlds in 14w28b and my world was unfortunately corrupted. BUT! Do not be sad! I will restart production of the map. I was unhappy with the original terrain and will create my own with WorldPainter. I've never tried it but I'm sure it will come out great. This will allow me to have the world I want without having things like caves, dungeons, etc. getting in the way. Excited to get working on the new version of the map and I am planning to put together a team of people so we can work together to make an awesome map. Thanks and stay tuned! Always stay optimistic!
I'd love to help with this. I'd been keeping my eye on adventure maps like these and this one looks not only possible, but could yield excellent results. I'm a big fan of RPGs and the Legend of Zelda series, and have wanted to pitch in and help out a map like those for a while now. I like working with a team and I'm very good with redstone and command blocks, and I'm a mediocre builder (compared, I mean, to those who create 1:1 scale middle earths, for example).
