A horror Resource Pack and Adventure Map based off of SCP: Containment Breach by Regalis

SCP-173~ ("The Sculpture")- [Monster used TBD]: A critical mob in SCP since it is the antagonist in the original game. System TBD.
SCP-049* ("The Plague Doctor")- Zombie pigmen: Will be in the sewers as normally and will bring the zombies to life and spawn more while in the hunt. When touched by him, the player will "turn into a zombie" and result in death.
SCP-012* ("A Bad Composition")- Redstone contraption: When a player walks into the room besides his, the door will open on its own and pull the player towards it and kill them. System for pulling the player (or attracting them to it) TBD.
SCP-106~ ("The Old Man")- [Monster used TBD]: Will appear randomly and follow the player until he has run out of his high radius of location. When touched, player will be tp'd to the pocket dimension. System for TBD.
SCP-079~ ("The Old AI")- Redstone contraption: Will randomly shut/open doors in the distance and is the reason the containment breach occurred in the first place. Key element in completing the game as well.
SCP-714* ("The Jaded Ring")- Redstone contraption + item: Ring that helps take some damage (not from most SCP's and dangers) and keeps the user from contracting most illnesses. Cannot heal an illness obtained while not worn.
SCP-914* ("The Clockworks")- Redstone contraption: Fully operational with 5 outcome settings, an input and output, and pure awesomeness. Transforms items when thrown in; required to beat the game.
SCP-1025~ ("The Encyclopedia of Diseases")- Redstone contraption + item: When read (picked up) the user will contract the illness the book describes. Will ultimately lead to death. Unable to affect users wearing SCP-714.
SCP-008 ("Zombie Plague")- Redstone contraption: When player walks into the room, it will open up and give the player a virus that ultimately results in death. SCP-714 will keep you from contracting the virus.
SCP-500~ ("Panacea")- Redstone contraption + item: When used the player is healed and recovers from almost all illnesses.
SCP-513* ("The Cowbell")- Redstone contraption: when player approaches the object, a ringing will be heard that will make the player start to become insane and will summon SCP-513-1 that will start to harmlessly follow the player and appear out of nowhere and ultimately lead to the player's suicide (uncontrollable).
SCP-682 ("Hard-to-Destroy Reptile")- Redstone contraption: Will appear when you have broken out of the facility and [DATA EXPUNGED] (spoiler).
SCP-895~ ("Camera Disruption")- Long stairway leading to a hall and a room with a coffin. There isn't much to fear except for the extreme bass and camera shake in the area and the high chance to summon SCP-[DATA EXPUNGED]
SCP-420-J~ - Redstone contraption + item: Will [DATA EXPUNGED] (spoiler).
SCP-096* ("The Shy Guy")- Enderman: When you look at his face he will become aggravated and kill you. {Last thing needed is a way to keep it from tp'ing}
SCP-294* ("Coffee Machine")- Redstone contraption: Cups go in; drinks come out. It can be difficult to comprehend, I know...
SCP-035 ("Possessive Mask")- There isn't much to go off of yet since I personally haven't encountered it yet as it's new. I'll definitely add the event with options that work same as SCPCB.
Bullet Proof Vest*- Diamond armor [likely to change]: Both normal and upgraded versions don't do much of anything against anything besides bullets. Useful for escaping the MTF (Mobile Task Force which is trying to re-control and re-contain the facility as well as save all personnel and kill all rogue class-D personnel (which is you)).
Gas Mask*- Pumpkin: When worn, looks as if an actual gas mask was worn and protects you from smoke and gives extra speed. Now thanks to 14w07a I can test for the player wearing it and add sound effects
First Aid Kit*- Apple/Golden apple: When used, heals wounds (Wounds DO NOT heal over time).
Hazmat Suit~- Diamond Boots? [likely to change]: When worn, protects player from SCP-008; also slows player.
Battery*- Coal: Both 9v and 18v batteries are in game and used to activate certain items. Strange battery will shock the player and ultimately kill them.
Documents~- Books: Contains information about different SCP's. Also made the Origami item which is from putting documents into SCP-914 at a certain setting.{So many different documents to make and place around ._.' }
Master Card/Playing Card*- Items: Useless cards that are obtained when a key card is wrongly put through SCP-914. (May ruin that game if you ruin all the key cards in the map) (I might make it so that you can turn them back into level 1 key cards).

SCP-106: Mob used is undetermined. Possible mobs include: Creeper and Skeleton.

Making the line of sight system isn't possible in vanilla without the object being in a set position (or at least not possible without tons of redstoning that's not worth the effort of doing in the big map) so for now it will probably just creep over to you and blow you up (snap your neck) ((SFX and GFX will match accordingly)).
SCP-096: The enderman will teleport around the map so I need some sort of data tag to prevent that. If anyone knows what it is if any that'd be great; or if there is none.

Maps and Layout
I can only have one layout since it's only Minecraft so it shouldn't be too hard to play the game especially if you've already played it or a friend has.
I am currently working on making all the rooms separately in a different world then am going to export the MC-edit schematics and piece it all together
I will try to make the layout be as big as possible so that there is a lot of game play but I don't want to way way way overdo it.
Currently I have a huge portion of the layout organized already. I'm doubtful on the official release being soon, but it's making it's way along; that I can guarantee

There were many problems before while I was trying to make a tinted & dirty glass to keep the feel of the game.
Since the Halloween deadline was extremely far-fetched for the work required & inputted I'll be trying to throw out a playable version soon to make up for it so at least someone can try it/test it. I think by far the second biggest set back (aside from life) is that I have to play the original and take ss and understand it to recreate it while enduring all the scares .___.' and the atmosphere and anxiety gets to you t.t
I have suggestion although it might be too late(had to make this new account as well :/), you should attempt to add SCP-294 also known as the "Coffee Machine", not sure how well it would work in MC though. And are you still working on this or did you discontinue it.

I'm still working on it although I've been busy with other stuff since thanksgiving. I was actually working on 294 most recently; for now I have a cup recognition system that gives you a random order from the pre-made list. Maybe in the future I'll use anvils for names and create a bigger list but for now it'll do.
I've only got a few more maps to create and magic to perform before I can get something public. I can guarantee to you that I have no intentions of quitting thus far; however, there are still barriers to gameplay such as SCP-173 (likely to be a creeper atm) and SCP-096 (going to be an endermen, but I need a way to prevent it from teleporting out of the room ._.)
One question: Wouldn't the Enderman get trapped by the doors? SCP-096 can force doors open and endermen can only counter that by teleporting (but you're gonna try to disable his tp, which I agree on).

He would but you're going to be temporarily "trapped" in a room with him anyway and with the sound effects, textures and setting it's creepy setting him off even if you're safe
Now that I'm getting into the mob function, I'm unsure about SCP-106 being a skeleton or how to get the player to the pocket dimension (which i've already made and I'm sure you'll enjoy ;P)
I have some ideas for this game (Since I'm a Minecraft and SCP-CB addict :3). Maybe SCP-173 can be a zombie instead of a Creeper or Skeleton, considering of the pose that 173 holds. I also have an idea for the SCP-035 event (Spoiler: when you come in the door control room a SCP Personnel is inside 035's containment chamber, the person asks if you can open the door. You have two switches, one for the door, and the other for the gas valves. If you turn on the gas valves, it kills the Personnel inside the chamber. A few seconds later, he gets up again and talks in a little deeper voice, he gives you another chance to open up the door, if you turn on the gas valves again, it will do nothing, so your only choice is to open the door, once you do he tells you a different way to escape, he says if you goto SCP-012, between the lines, there's a map, then he wishes you good luck and leaves. If you don't turn on the gas valves and open the door, he says you need to turn off the power and then goto SCP-079, who will open Gate B for you if you turn the power back on.) The Personnel can be a type of villager (Any type ya want :3) that has the mask on. He speaks in the chat(of course XD) and says all those things. Also, when you go inside the chamber, there's a panel inside (SCP-145 I think), but tentacles come up and whip at you, just like the game. (Can't think of the mob that should be them yet, probably not even a mob, just particles then :3)

I'm thinking creepers might actually be better (of course with mob griefing off) and to just have him lose in the map. (Coolest thing about mobs is that they are literally named in the pack's code as SCP-XXX and the killed lines are changed to match certain deaths that are similar to SCPCB. I thought it was pretty sick seeing the chat change accordingly)
As for 035 I was planning on having the event be sound effects and 2 switches with the closet and etc but I'm still working on a design for Personnel and MTF and how to get them to move (already decided to use villagers). I'm still testing around with the cart system or tp commands. I think now with an entity parameter I can do that except itll look a little funny when they do it. Actually I just now realized I could use Sethbling's new idea with clone to have all nearby blocks appear and have it work with the villagers possibly. I don't know how it would work so they stay a certain distance away though. I guess ill get there when I get there.
And with the new camera angling I made a system that shakes the camera (in circles) to simulate in game camera shakes (being gunned, hearing 682, going near 895, etc). I'm gonna have a lot of fun adding extra jumpscares once I finish the last few maps and piece it together
I'm just kinda restricted in BGM because if you have the previous area's music still playing when the new one starts it sounds like crap :C They should have a command that stops music from being heard
Well, the map is nearly complete. Layout is almost done being built (layout design is long done), most textures are done, all SFX are done, and etc. I am just one of those people that gets EXTREMELY side-tracked lol. And I play another game and have ap classes im dealing with and sports so it depends on my mood really. It's hard to compare working on a horror map with a more fun, happy, and nostalgic map if you get what I'm saying.
Anyway, aside my constant distractions, I should have the first version out relatively soon. The biggest problem in the game for me is creating the MTF and SCP-096.
And if anyone can think of a command to detect if a player is hit by an arrow. I know how to detect it if it's on the ground or in air. Maybe a radius near the player? I need some sort of way for 106 to tp you to the PD (pocket dimension for the unfamiliars)

I'm trying to keep this map and pack all in vanilla. I removed the requirement to have CTM (mc patcher) for that very reason.
I could always make SCP-173's feet as a creeper invisible so it's as if he crept up on you more so. As it is, I think having an unexpected explosion (especially when I'm done with the sfx and gfx ;P) will be scary enough to match his unexpected appearances and massacres in game.
Since the 1.8 snapshot first came out I got back into working on my mc maps (just 2 thank god) but unfortunately this time my other map and pack prevailed. I'll swap back over soon enough anyway. BUT! I got the rest of the necessary screen shots of the maps (pretty much just Gate B's ending and SCP-106's room. For some odd reason the layout totally confused me [I blame my unclear screen shots]).
Wow! This look, pretty pretty well made, very similar to the real SCP Containment Breach, also, the map will be generate randomly like in the real SCP? I don't know if that's possible with plugins...
Maybe SCP-173 can be a Witch? Just remove the potion effect and change the glass shattering sound, or SCP-173 could be a Snow Golem just remove the snow and change the snowball sound. I have a few ideas for what he can be. Since you use SCP-049-2 as a Zombie, maybe SCP-173 can be a Zombie Villager, or it could be a Wither Skeleton with insane speed, just gotta find out how to remove the Wither if you're gonna do that, and the Custom NPCs mod was a good idea whoever said it, I think you should use it. Also the SCP Minecraft mod can really reduce the amount of SCPs you need to work on, just saying.

Lol, but of course it is also has sounds. There are over 100 sounds in it so far (it prob won't rise that much anymore).
