Hovercraft is a Floating Island PvP map that I've been working on for the past few months. The goal is to make your way to the End Island by activating "Capture Points", which are activated by standing on them for a period of time. Once you make it to the End island you need to activate the final Capture point to win (Note: I will be changing this winning system, I just wanted to release a playable version). Features:
4 Separate Floating Islands
Fully resetable - you can just keep on playing
8 Classes
2 Teams Screenshots
I currently don't have any in game screenshots, feel free to provide me with some.
Changelog
1.3 - 10 Oct 2013 - Developer-only command blocks are now removed/hidden, fiddled with invisibility flickering timing and adjusted the rarity of nausea. Bug Fixes:
Fixed sneaks loosing every potion effect when their invisibility flickers
Fixed everyone being treated as dead when just one player dies (clear their inventory and return them back to class selection room) - Note: May still be possible to break the system to where it just clears one player's inventory, but teleports more than one person
Fixed some classes not giving you all items and/or not teleporting you to island selection room
Note: When teleporting to an island you may take damage, which could be fatal to sneaks. This will be fixed with a new capture point system I am going to introduce in v1.5. I will not reveal what v1.4 is going to be yet.
1.2 - 22 Sept 2013 - Becoming a sneak has side effects and if you play in 13w37a or you will be able to reset the map once the game is over (Don't worry, you can't reset it mid-game).
1.1 - 4 Sept 2013 - Both teams need to have unlocked the End before the final Capture Point can be activated, Minor visual changes to the Forest and Removed some Endstone (item) from the End Island.
1.0 - 17 Aug 2013 - Initial Release
Download
Note: To use the in-game reset feature you must play in 13w37a or higher. I recommend playing in 13w38c if you want this feature due to the fact that the 13w39 snapshots seem very buggy. Main - Current Version: v1.3 Mirror - Current Version: v1.3 Older Downloads
Update - v1.1: Both teams need to have unlocked the End before the final Capture Point can be activated, Minor visual changes to the Forest and Removed some Endstone (item) from the End Island. I would still like some advice on this map.
Update - 1.2 - Becoming a sneak has side effects and if you play in 13w37a or you will be able to reset the map once the game is over (Don't worry, you can't reset it mid-game). I would still like some feedback on this map.
