My mission is to create a full scale map of San Andreas from Grand Theft Auto. All 36 sq k of it.Here are some links to a few of my Youtube video's on this build. Sorry about the quality of it... my computer sucksI am in full understanding that this sounds crazy and will take years to do, but it is a project i am willing to invest 3000+ hours completing. All buildings will be 1 for 1 in relative size, 1 Minecraft block to 1 meter.Yes i am crazy, and this is what crazy people do. It will be a epic grind, but worth it i think. So far my world file size is over 750mb!! Now that is pretty huge. What do you guys think of this? Any tips or messages of support? Has anyone else ever done this?I will be posting screen shots and updates every week or so on here.Wish me luck
I have been working loads of hours in work this last week. But i did start this project off, about 2 hours worth. I have scaled the San Andreas map into 10m x 10m grids and made a start of the road at Grove Street.
that looks amazing! the only criticism i could think of is the diverse use of colour. San Andreas has a west coast ghetto look so I don't know if it's just the blocks in minecraft but it looks like you're not pulling off the look, but still amazing

Hopefully he doesn't go over the Mediafire limit.... if that's what he uses...
4 hours total so far. (due to the fact of working out 10m x 10m grids for the san andreas map)

And i think this prodject will take in excess of 3000 hours to complete
36^2 = 1296 km x 1000 = 1 296 000 blocks.
That's not counting the Y variables. 3000 hours is 125 days of non-stop building. I don't think this is going to happen, to be honest.
I did say it a a long term project. Might take me a couple of years to finish.
But it will be EPIC when it's finished
