Welcome to the Official Banjo Kazooie Project page! This project is aimed at recreating the full Banjo Kazooie game in Minecraft with adventure elements added onto it. It is a one of a kind project dating back to 2011.
WARNING!!! 20w17a+ Required To Play Map
20w17a+ snapshot is a requirement due to the version we currently run on the map. If you load with an older version, corruption will occur and you will see missing blocks. We are using 20w17a blocks. This is purely walking around and does not contain adventure elements. These elements will come at a later date. For best results, set your music slider to 25 and ambient to 2, and make sure you do not have any resource packs enabled. Those packs will break the map.
*If you do not have snapshots enabled. Please follow:
To play a snapshot, go into the "Installations" tab and tick the "Snapshots" option in the top-right corner. This allows you to play both the latest release versions and development versions by switching profiles on the launcher. Keep in mind that Minecraft doesn't care about save data compatibility, so it is advised to use a temporary world when you test development builds (note that it is possible to enable snapshots without changing the game directory, however, separate game directories are a good practice to keep your worlds separated and prevent compatibility issues from destroying your maps).
You may now download the map and play a small snippet of our project. Areas that you can explore are:
Spiral Mountain (BK)
Spiral Mountain (BT)
Gruntilda's Lair (BK)
Mumbo's Mountain (BK)
Treasure Tove Cove (BK)
Clankers Cavern (BK)
Jinjo Village (BT)
Wooded Hollows (BT)
Mayahem Temple (BT)
*Keep in mind that this map/resource pack is not to be re-uploaded, modified or claimed at your own. By downloading and playing the map you agree to these terms.
weak man, i really love banjo kazooie, blows creepers this happen to you, best of luck and effort in the completion of this map, if not the video alone of spiral mountain and grunty lair is good enough for me, lets hope someone makes a texture pack to make it feel more banjo-ish especialy the paintings hehe
best of luck and great idea
Like i suggested, do the wheat. Also, you could do without the bottles and jamjars holes and completely build grunties bridge if your doing her entire lair.
Speaking of, you should just get up to making Spiral Mountain and then do the download link. Then do a "With Grunties lair" and "Lair and Isle of Hags."
And well, since your doing the actual games. Isle of Hags should be easy...
I think there are maps online you could use too...
The wheat is not working out.
Really? It looks fine to me in the pictures. Granted, they aren't fully grown, but with some texture packs it actually does work, quite well.
Looks like your doing them in the condition of a game to game basis too. Nuts and Bolts has a hole through the hat that's perfectly round [tee hee... fat grunty], as well as the HAG1 holes.
Oh, and don't map it too deep, it might mess up the ores and caves. yes, it's Banjo Kazooie, but i'd like something to do too.
The problem with the wheat is it's dying. Even though there is water source near and under it. This was a custom flat map that I downloaded. There are no ores or caves. At least in the area that was made flat. I'm not really adding in anything related to nuts & bolts. The reason is I never played it and don't plan on to. Neither own the system as well. Lol. I prefer my good ol' N64. :tongue.gif:
I have uploaded a new picture of the project. Almost done. Just have to finish the mountains for the small map release. Then i continue into Gruntilda's lair. (Map expansion[same map but will be seamless])
