Hey! I really want to build a CTM styled map, but all the tutorials at YT are 3 and more years old + 1.14 doesn't have stuff like worldedit and mcedit, so what are tips and tricks I could use to, for example, create huge natural looking caverns and randomized blocks without building the map for 10 years?
To be exact, here's what I want to ask:
1) How to make huge caverns.
2) How to randomize blocks in them.
3) How to make randomized trees/diagonal structures.
Without worldedit or mcedit. Just in a vanilla way.

What most CTM mapmakers have done since 1.13 was released is build everything in 1.12 (using all the mapmaking tools) and then update to 1.13, test if everything works fine and do the command/function stuff. The downside of this of course would be the lack of the new blocks (specially the ones from 1.14).
I'm no mapmaker myself so I can't really help with what you're asking, but right now a mapmaking server with various tools (WE, VS) for 1.14 is being developed; there is one for 1.13 but it's a bit buggy iirc.
