I was wondering something rather perplexing recently, how does one force a resource/texture pack in a single player world? By this I mean, how does one prompt, or even have a texture pack already loaded into the world? Such as that of the map Soul of the Soulless City by Tate, in which the player spawns in with the resource pack preloaded. I was wondering this, because I want to do something along those lines in my map, as it requires the player to use certain textures. Can anyone help? (P.S, just so you know, I know how to install a texture pack, but I don't know how to prompt one to a single player user)
Oh, and btw, I haven't been on the forums for all that long, so I haven't the slightest idea where this thread goes...
Ehem, what was the point of that comment? You do realize that added nothing at all. Oh, and btw, it's not simple not everyone knows or uses it. And I did mean a preloaded texture pack, not pre-installed.

It is, infact - really simple, all you do is put a zip file into a folder and rename it. Also, there was no need to make this thread in the maps section, or to make it at all. A simple google search that took me 3 seconds gave me how to do it, and anyone who would want to do it could easily figure out how. There's also the fact that you can search the forums for how to do it, instead of cloning other threads.

Anyone? I do realize that this is a question that takes research and not everyone knows it, but that's all the more reason to answer it.
Place the pack inside the save file under the name "resources.zip"
Putting the CENDENT back in transcendent!
Maybe it's just me, but my world saves don't have a file named 'resources.zip' contained in them.Btw, loved your post about how to use /execute.Nvm, thanks for the help! I realized what to do.
its simple. i also used a faithful pack in one of my maps.
