Pokémon Iron & Coal will be a custom 1.9 Vanilla Minecraft Adventure Map taking place in a whole new region and new Pokémon. This map is HEAVILY inspired by PheonixSC's "Pokémon Cobalt and Amethyst" project. In no way are we affiliated with them, currently, though we hold the utmost respect for them and do not wish to create any conflict or attempt to copy them. Unlike PokéCA, PokéIC will contain Pokémon that are related to Minecraft's mobs, blocks, structures, etc. Even it's region will be inspired by Minecraft. Hopefully, we are looking forward to creating two different maps of the same region and Pokémon, though there will be some small differences(Like Pokémon Red is to Blue, Ruby is to Sapphire, etc.). Currently, we have decided on plenty of Pokémon. However, the story line and region is still in the works, and we are looking for experienced builders, redstoners, block modelers, etc. If you are interested, please fill out the form in this post and comment it below. We will release a demo unrelated to the main maps after we have finished some mechanics to demonstrate the concept and build hype soon!
If you want to keep up with production, follow DaggardBR on Twitter here. I will post several photos, GIFs, videos, and even more on this Twitter account.
Here are some photos we are comfortable with releasing as of now. (Everything, even the logos, are subject to change. This also includes Pokémon.)

As I've learned you may post bumps after your post hasn't been referenced for 24 hours. Also, dang Pandawan, you're everywhere!
1. Pretty sure the rules state that you aren't allowed to bump. Although this may be true for rules in another sub-forum/categorie, the one for Map Discussion doesn't have that. But it;s alright, not gonna report you.
2. Yeah, I like to look at different projects on MCF, and found that you were making a Pokemon map too!
Does redstone include Command Blocks, or is it purely just redstone?
I am pretty sure that by redstone they mean, almost only Command Blocks, maps like that don't need much redstone, if not to connect cmd blocks together.

Our goal is replicate Pokemon while keeping the Minecraft feel. We do not want to re-texture the map completely, rather make the game fit in as if it was normal Minecraft. This includes using Minecraft textures on the Pokemon, which we have already put into play. Our routes and towns will have more depth than a regular Pokemon game, though we are bringing the slope mechanic into the map. We are trying to make the map high quality both redstone and build wise. Our secondary goal is making the map infinitely playable, similar to Pokemon. We are bringing something unique to this Pokemon map just like GameFreak adds something unique to each of their Pokemon Maps. Thank you for the suggestions, though!

-Bump-
Can I see some of your redstone/building skills?
-Bump-
We are still in need of block modelers, highly advanced build team, and a redstone assistant.
You do know bumping isn't allowed? You have to say something relevant.
Also, this is gonna take you a long time, and you're gonna need a really big team...
Hope you won't abandon!

Yes redstone is purely command blocks. I don't expect to use much normal redstone.

For my experience, could I refer you to someone on skype who I worked with on a Pokemon map before?
That would be lovely, thanks! Message me their username.
Is this still going? I can't get into any server work at the moment, but I can answer Redstone questions.
Work has been at a standstill but your aide could be very helpful! Contact me.
