Great! Now we're full on jobs! I can work on the boss battle part, and we'll be done! Please use relative coordinates for the redstone, and make the redstone and the rooms close together so I can select all of it in mcedit.
Boss Battle? In my head, this is sounding more and more like Portal....
In other News, I've finished recreating the concept room using relative co-ordinates. It'll server as an example room. Next stop, the actual puzzle.
I've been thinking about this. The platforms aren't actually a puzzle, so I've decided to implement a little doors puzzle as well. It's just flicking levers o open doors. You'll see what I mean when I'm finished.
I'm a bit confused, do i just make a puzzle in my Minecraft and send you the map then you use MC-edit to put it all in one world? Also what game mode will it be in?

That's exactly right. As for gamemodes, gamerules and other such things, I set them to what I require at the start of my section. I suggest you do the same.

It'll be different from Portal, but I see what you're saying. In the boss battle, the player isn't actually trying to destroy the system, more like destroying the factory.
I've reworked the win detection and multiplayer compatibility (again) and this time used a piston door that uses redstone rather than relative co-ordinates to make it easier. It took a tenth of the time!
I hope to have my next goal (Complete the first room) done by Friday.
By the way, I changed S.O.S.M to S.O.S.U for Self Operating Security Unit because it's easier to pronounce. xD

I'm working on the antigravity puzzle, so we're full on jobs! Once everyone finishes theirs we'll be done!
Status: ACCEPTED

Good, but could definitely use some polishing here and there. Just keep working and when you send the final copy I'll add some touches to it.
i have done the coolest thing in my section...
TIME TRAVEL!!!
Spent 2hrs making win detection and mulitplayer compatibility today.
I've already run into some serious bugs...
I wonder how many files will be on my dump by the end...
Have a working screenshot to cheer us up!
here are some images of the time travel
so when should we be done
Not sure. I'm just going at my own pace.
On the subject of pace, I've decided the best way to keep on track is to set goals for myself.
I've already planned my rooms on paper, so that's a weight off my shoulders.
Today's Goal: Fix the exit door from the intro room
Goal Complete!

It doesn't matter, I don't have any deadlines.
