Thank you. The reason why I did this is so that I can direct people to all of my maps using 1 url I will use it on other sites to direct more traffic.

So sorry I did not reply to this sooner. For some reason I did not see your comment until just now.

The way I started was by playing a map. I thought to my self I could make something like this, but better. So using the map as a guide, I learned and tested different commandblock commands. Much of my initial map making was learning. I watched YouTube videos, looked at how other maps did things, and read the minecraft wiki over and over again. I would then test the things that I learned in a test world, or in my map. The best tip that I can give you is to have motivation. Make a map that you would enjoy playing. I really wanted to play a fun arena style map with RPG classes, so I made Dungeon Arena (my first map). Just come up with an idea and start building. Don't try anything too complex for your first map. Your first one will be a learning experience. Also use mods to help you make your map. MCEdit is a valuable tool as well as: Ingame NBTedit, Too many items, and Damage indicators. Depending on the type of map you are making you will use different mods, but you don't have to use mods (they just make building faster).

I could probably talk about this forever. Just come up with an idea and get started. Once you make a few maps you will become better at making them. I have plans to do map making tutorials on my YouTube channel, but so far I don't have many tutorials uploaded. I will upload more as time goes on. Also as MinecraftPuzzler12 said you could start with my map template. I hope this helped, let me know if you have any questions.

You are triyng to make an RPG battle game?I really look forward for this idea.But i could think of another thing:Have you ever played Pixel dungeon?Dowload it if you have an andriod devise.From there i had the idea,if you can,to add something like Mini bosses(in the game they're called Animated Statue) which have a weapon.Every time it is random.and when you kill it,you recieve the item.

Thanks. I was thinking about making an RPG adventure map as well as an RPG dungeon crawl map. The problem with RPG maps is that they take a lot of time to make each of the custom items and mobs. I like the idea of adding random weapons/drops. I still have a lot of map ideas, but not nearly enough time to make them all. I am glad that you enjoyed the map. Thanks again.

I do have a multiplayer server, but I will not be making collaboration maps any time soon. I have tried to build maps with others, and it never works out. I will periodically update this map and my other map. But I don't plan on adding too many new features. The updates will mostly include bug fixes and Minecraft version compatibility.

Thank you. I do have plans to make more maps, but I don't think I will make Dungeon Arena 3 for a while. I am almost finished with a map that is similar to dungeon arena, but much less complex. I have lots of other fun map ideas that I want to build before I make a dungeon arena 3, but no worries lots of them will have similar features as dungeon arena. Thanks again. Have a great day.
