I would have liked to participate this time around, but it came up kinda suddenly, and I didn't really have time to prepare, but I look foward to seeing all your submissions and joining in for next time.
For now this is all I have to offer to the community:
So, I plan to have my map done by the cutoff date, but won't be able to post it until either Monday night or Tuesday morning. Hopefully that'll be alright! Otherwise, stuff is coming swimmingly. Glad to see a few maps being posted, though I'm a bit disappointed to see arguments already - reviews are reviews; let's not complain about them, eh? After all, there's still a day and change left, people can still change stuff.

I fullheartadly agree. Just a note though, Sylf is in Australia so the cut off date for him was yesterday. He started a day early, ended a day early I think.
I spent waaaaaay too much time on The Forge of Vulcan.
But was it worth it? You bet it was.
Current Progress:
Finished -
In Progress -
Not Started -
--------------------------------------
Spawn: Road of Chains
Intersection One
Monument of Worldbirth
Solaphis Hold
Falls of Yang
Intersection Two
Fungal Spiral (Changed from "Fungal Pass")
Ember Canyon
The Forge of Vulcan
Intersection Three
Ion Tower
Rubble to Ash
Aevum Halls
Intersection Four
Sodden Scaffolds
Arctic Maelstrom
Falls of Yin
Over halfway done aesthetically! I'm hoping to get the third intersection done today as well, but if I don't it's not the end of the world. If I fall short by an area I think I'll still have time to finish tomorrow.

That looks bad AF, the use of overlapping lines really adds depth to the picture. If all the areas look half of that, you'll be fine

Trainwreck, point us to a player we can prove it to.
Hmm, I'm not sure if I should release an area that looks like this: Thoughts?
I like it. I've always been a fan of simple areas.

Hey there, all. I stream CTMs as well as other indie games, Minecraft servers and probably that's it. I'm your supreme overlord too so I command you to CHECK ME OUT: www.twitch.tv/techniclepanther
Review of ANUS:
This map was the best map I've ever played. The simple, et complex block variation was beautiful. The rough outer lining of the testicle was very realistic and awesome. The mobs make you tickle your scrotum in pain, yet the pain is beautiful. The crap is the swag. The swag is the soul. Stretch marks are amazing. <3
Can we have this added to the rules Drago? Do not give feedback if it doesn't benefit or help the mapper. I feel as if this is an environment meant to help people and have fun mapping, so people should not be leaving reviews/critiques that don't benefit anyone.
I really see no point in doing this. Not to re-spark the argument that happened, but putting restrictions on criticism, constructive or not, is borderline censorship and definitely not something I want to be toying with. If someone is being obnoxious with their criticism, they'll get jumped on by others and told off, but telling people not to give a certain kind of feedback altogether is not the way to handle things.
I've added Sylf's map to the OP and SarcasmLord's banner as well.

I can respect that decision.
On an unrelated note, once there are a few more finalized submissions, I'm going to be streaming some of the Strawberry Jam maps over on my twitch: twitch.tv/TheSarcasmLord
I'll give an update on this when I'm ready to start streaming. We need more submissions first!
Update: I am no longer aiming for "pretty darn hard". I am now aiming for "really easy". I'll have to tweak the starting gear a little, but yeah. Easier than originally planned.
...what?
Okay, fine, have a picture.
This is the second wool. Yup, it's in that massive tree. And yup, climbing it is gonna be a pain. (Biomes are still screwed up, though.)
EDIT hey guys look what I did
ooooo so taboo
(Not meaning to belittle your entire conversation, but, well... it needed some humor.)

For now this is all I have to offer to the community:
A brand new banner! Not as good as the last one I made imo but still new and stuff.
I wanted to participate in some way okay, so this is my contribution.
Also, this one has the proper updated link so when clicked it will actually send you to the reduxed strawberry jam.
What's your reason?
