No, please... please tell me you didn't name this after the Johnny Cash song (jk). In 7th grade, we did a project on the "Ring of Fire" in science class, and my teacher played the song the WHOLE TIME.

You tell me when you would like for me to review it. Keep in mind that this is a review, so you might want to perfect the map before I do it.
I would also suggest adding 1-2 pictures of your map through Imgur onto the forums. Research how to do that, kay?
Description: "I Was Told There Would Be Wool" is a parkour/puzzle adventure map with a rich story-line and rewarding gameplay. The map is based around you as the player of an old CTM (complete the monument) map that you quickly learn is being controlled by an evil moderator who won't let players finish the map. Your goal is to find the moderator and stop him from keeping the last wool block from everyone. The story-line is mostly linear, however there are many hidden places to explore and lots of easter-eggs and loot to be found throughout your adventure. It's time to get lost in an epic story of greed, control, and redemption that any minecrafter will enjoy.
Today's review will be Parkour Brasil by Kowperman147.
Parkour Brasil by Kowperman147
Creativity: 2. Regular parkour is regular. Although it contained many types of parkour, (regular, ladders, fences, heads, etc.) I still feel like it could use some spicing up in uniqueness.... How about some added challenges, like bow shooting or mob fighting? Besides that,
there is an added maze which is really easy to complete. Mazes are not unique unless you add a gameplay mechanic (not sure at this point) to make them interesting. My favorite part of the map was the second trial-and-error portion where you had to remember facts about the previous levels in order to proceed.
Difficulty: 2. Difficulty was steady (challenging) for the majority of the map, though the curve did go down/up at some parts. Parkour is partly based on luck, which could be tough for some Minecrafters, and mazes are easy yet time-consuming.
Detail: 1.5. Block variation is good, using a variety of different blocks to simulate different environments. I do feel like some of the blocks should be changed; iron/gold/diamond blocks do not look good because of the borders and are commonly used in maps like this. I want an atmosphere while I am jumping, and a simple one material wall won't convey what I want.
Maybe even blend the parkour into the environment; build houses or something like that and have the players jump on the roof. Minecraft is only limited by your imagination.
Gameplay and Experience: 1.5. Although the parkour was challenging, it was nothing I haven't seen before in a map. Gameplay and experience is partly how well I enjoyed the map, and surprises are a huge part of that factor. Taking the three categories into perspective, the difficulty could use some balancing, the detail could use some work, and I would incorporate some extra non-parkour challenges to make the map unique. Overall, this is an average parkour map that you should try if you like to jump a lot.
Because that is what this map basically is.
Jumping.
+ Block variation good throughout the map. + Variety of materials to jump on, making the map challenging and fun at times. - The map still needs some more detail everywhere. - #LessParkourMoreWhatever.
Overall Score™: 2 + 2 + 1.5 + 1.5 = 7/12. Average. Keep it up, Kowperman! Diamonds to you.
I'll review it in Beta if that is so, just so you can make some changes and also because my score will probably be more accurate. Just notify me when you release it.
It'll be a while 'til I review your map; I still have to beta test The L'brour Mansion, and I am also playing Stroneheim to get a break from reviewing all the applications. Take your time.

Wow! I really thought i would get less than that. Btw, i'll do a update at the map to add what you said, if you want to, you can give it a shot .
Update on Ragecraft II: Insomnia.
It is hard.
Grueling hard.
I am currently on Little Empire with 24 deaths.
24 deaths.
And some guy is on the pink wool right now with 2 deaths.. 2!!!!11!!!!11
It will eat your heart and rip your soul. It will give you loot so you can die with it. He is possibly even worse than Vechs at this rate.
Oh hai.
Didn't expect to see you there, was planning to keep the review a surprise. Apparently that isn't going to happen.
Thank you for chuckling at my feeble strength. Over half of my deaths were derps, though I did have some trouble fighting the pyromaniacs. I raged. It's called RageCraft for a reason.
I partly played on 1.6.1 from Last Sanctuary to halfway through the Little Empire (where I died the most) so that might be why. One of my friend's servers is equipped for 1.6.1 for some reason, which is a big issue when it comes to baby zombies moving 10x faster.
Changing the subject from dying a mllion times because I hate talking about it, the map is fabulous. It makes me rage and yet I still have the courage to continue on, a feeling I rarely get in CTM maps. The environments are amazing, the custom mobs are plentiful, and the weapons are varied, allowing you to pick and choose which style of fighting you would like to use. It really seems like it is your fault every time you die by a creeper explosion. If I do complete the map, expect a great review.
In the meantime, I am now going to enter this creepy castle to the left. Wish me luck.
Didn't expect to see you there either. You were the person that I was talking about, congrats for finding yourself.
I'm playing on Normal, and I have no intent to change at this rate . Step up your game, you look like the person to do it.
Wait a second.
I normally play CTM maps on Easy for maximum enjoyment. I'm attempting to make a switch to Normal, but I decided not to do so for this map because of its difficulty.
In other news, ORANGE AND MAGENTA WOOL GET YEAH! LITTLE EMPIRE SECURED SCREW YOU HELICEO

Should I play L'brour Mansion or continue on Death Row? Hmm... Tough decision.

Sorry about the lack of reviews, I've been too busy playing RageCraft II: Insomnia and beta testing The L'brour Mansion.
I'll try to get a review in today.
Update: Until November 1, I will not be accepting new applications. This is due to the backlog I am getting because of the number of applications.
They should all be quick to play, and depending on how quickly I get through them, the queue could open up even earlier!
One of the reasons why I rage-quitted the thread the first time was due to lack of time and challenging difficulty. I'm not letting that happen this time.
I repeat myself: Until November 1, I will not be accepting new applications. This is due to the backlog I am getting because of the number of applications.
Oh, another update: I completed Death Row. Light Blue Wool get.

Oh, another another update: 2000 views? That's insane guys, thanks!
Surprised that many submissions haven't come in yet
Oh, another another another update: a review Today's review is not what you expected: The Jugglers Balls by Jigarbov. The Jugglers Balls by Jigarbov Creativity: 3. It's a map about the Juggler's balls. But it seems to deliver more than that.
This was made to be humorous and show off 1.7 features, and it seems to deliver on those promises. Jig uses many tricks, such as the /setblock and /summon command, a fully active quest log, craziness, crude allusions to other Minecraft map-related.. stuff, and even more craziness. I'm not sure how to describe craziness. Better figure it out for yourself, eh? *wink, wink*
Detail: 2.5. I was debating whether to give you a 2 or a 2.5 on this, but I decided to give you a 2.5. Almost all of the landscape was built great, but there were some flaws like the barn near the farmer and the clouds partly looking like MCedit brush strokes in heaven. However, the crown jewel of this category is the redstone commands changing parts of the map. The setblock and summon command is used to change the Juggler as well as parts of the environment. For example, I especially like when the Juggler became whitened and faded away.
Difficulty: 2. There were some challenges in the map, but it overall seemed very easy. The light parkour/bow shooting was very easy, as the parkour was only 1 block wide and 1 block high. (Which is kind of good, because I don't like heavy parkour in adventure maps) The buttons to shoot were also easy as they were close to you. Besides the parkour/bow shooting, the most challenging part was at the end when you had to remember who you went to besides the farmer. Yeah, I'm sure people will get stumped on that.
And yes, I understand this is supposed to be part tech demo, part adventure map. But still, you could have done something to make it challenging.
Gameplay and Experience: 2.5. The gameplay consists of fetch quests, a minor puzzle near the end, and light parkour/bow shooting. Some of the objectives can get a bit repetitive at times, but the innovation and humor of the map itself makes the gameplay a lot better.
I loved the innovation in the gameplay and detail, and the map was overall very fun to play. However, the lack of difficulty and detail in some parts of the map kept me from fully enjoying this map. Even after all that, you should play this map if you are looking to be wowed by 1.7 tech.
Now if you excuse me, I am going to hum the Juggler theme song.
Overall Score™: 3 + 2.5 + 2 + 2.5 = 10/12. Fantastic. Keep it up, Jig! Diamonds to you. *hums*
