This isn't a map, but I think you should add a question to your application something like... How long did you spend building the map?
It's just that there are a lot of people out there that make maps and you can tell they put no effort into them. I feel like you wouldn't want to waste your time.
Thanks! I might update it with some parkour and stuff. There was a puzzle at the beginning, and one of the options to find the second key was a maze.
Did you find the easter egg in either map? They weren't that well hidden, but they were ok, I would say.
By the way, I judged the map review on the first Prison Escape.
Prison Escape 3 will pretty much just be traps. You die if you don't do it right. I've been planning on making it a kind of Saw-themed map, in a way. Like, "Choose a pressure plate. There are 4. One will save the citizen, and you will live! One will kill you and let the citizen leave. One will kill just him, and you will move on. The last will kill both of you.". Stuff like that, parkour with lava, a room full with pressure plates, all filled with tnt/some rigged and a path to go through you have to find, and all that. Step wrong and you fall, explode, are shot, or exposed to monsters. Idk all about it yet really, but it will be a large map with traps around every corner.
If you are stuck on Prison Escape, after you get out of the ocean, you swim to the shore and head straight until you find another lively area. Keep going and you'll find a small bedrock thing and you can go down it. Continue from there. Prison Escape doesn't really have a story, its just, your in a prison, you escape, you find treasure after a walk, and then you go to Prison Escape 2. Nonetheless, I will work on Prison Escape 2 now. Reupload it. You can try it again afterwards if you want. I'll try to build it to what you said.
Right now, I am going through a stage in which I will review whatever map comes to me. However, when I get a tolerable amount of critiques and fame, I will look for the quality maps that need attention.
*Megalandreepuncher comments, Coallectics answers. Pun City rises.* Thanks! I might update it with some parkour and stuff. There was a puzzle at the beginning, and one of the options to find the second key was a maze. I'm not that observant xD.... I didn't see the puzzle, I guess the puzzle was to go through the water and find the key... not exactly a puzzle. Parkour... I hope you do it right. Don't use too much of it, blend it into the environment, use different materials.
Did you find the easter egg in either map? They weren't that well hidden, but they were ok, I would say. Did in the second, not in the first.
By the way, I judged the map review on the first Prison Escape. Saw it.

Don't use too much decisions unless there is a great story around it.

If you want a re-review, post it in the thread when you update it and I will review it again. Good luck! Reviewing Prison Escape now!
I can already tell what your map is going to be like.
A lot better than OBS since it actually has renewable resources... A tree! Finally!
Still no stone though or anything to keep my interest.
Since you are probably going to give me every one of your maps, I'll give you one brief comment for each of them:
Flatland: needs more stuff.
The Arena: Oh, you get to make your own stages. I can do that on a superflat world myself.
Sky Lands: Ripoff of Skyblock. Needs more stuff. Look at Struty's comments.
Sonic Land: You abandoned it and replaced it with Lost World, so I won't even comment on this one.
Animal Crossing Craft: Life simulator? More like a parkour and maze simulator.
If you want a full fledged review on any of these don't be afraid to apply.
What makes this map deserved to be played: Sexy fun, lot's of Easter Eggs,Replayable,Classes,Multiplayer,a Achievement feeling when you win,and a large and beautiful landscape.
The Arena: The map is ment to make the process a whole lot easier. Still, I am sure people don't want to build in a small spot made by an anonymous user. http://www.planetmin...aft-bros-brawl/
Sonic Land: ...Was made a MONTH after Sonic Lost World Crafted. I'm stupid. There isn't even a download for it anyway so I will assume it is like Lost World. http://www.minecraft...0000-downloads/
Animal Crossing Craft: This one actully did take me a while to make so... Well, it is a parkour and maze simulator. I see why it took a while. It's hard to make Animal Crossing in Minecraft. http://www.minecraft...4000-downloads/ ?
The moral of this story: You have many projects. Don't work on all of them at the same time. Work on one, shape it to be the best you can be, then move on to another one.(I suggest Animal Crossing, pretty interested) Most of all, don't abandon your project because of negative reception. Use their criticism to help improve the map. Double diamonds to you.
In other news... Prison Escape by Megalandrys Creativity: 1. Escaping from a prison is nothing new (It wasn't even a prison) and the entire thing was basically walking. Difficulty: 1.5. Very easy to finish the map. No challenge at all, except for what to do when you get out of the prison and move to the next area. Add more direction. Detail: 1. Not even a prison. Bedrock rooms. TNT obviously exploded outside. Gameplay and Experience: 1. Like I said, the biggest critique I have of this map is that the gameplay is walking, or at least that is what happened in my view of the map. Hardest part was figuring out where to go and mining diamonds, sheer luck. I was bored. You definitely improved in the sequel, which is great. Anxious for Prison Escape 3. Overall Score™: 1+1.5+1+1 = 4.5. Terrible, but you were so close to Average in the second.
If you read my application fully you could see that I don't review multiplayer maps
All I can say is that it looks great. The mountain is fabulous, the class system is kool (not cool, kool) etc, etc. Maybe work on the planets, but I know it is fantastic.

It was a small puzzle. Hard to notice. It might not even be in there, might be on a different file. EDIT: I checked, its not in the uploaded one.
The first was harder to find, you'd have to check everywhere in the beginning before you get out of the water for clay and keep digging for it *HINT*.
*skip*
Its like a Saw themed thing as in the traps and all, but your still imprisoned. Also, the traps are pretty deadly, not as much mob-fighting too. The story makes a much bigger impact there.
After the 4th/5th one I might stop it and make new maps. Some maybe paralell to it.
Your talking about the first one right? I'll get around to that.
I won't want a re-review until I change it around quite a bit, hopefully for the better. With that score, judging on it, I should be able to make it at least an Average.

Yeah, I totally agree with you on Creativity, and diffuculty was spot on. Detail was so and so, considering I meant to do the tnt stuff, it was to give it an apocolyptic theme. I hadn't planned the second one at the time. Gameplay and Experience, agreed. I hope your anxious enough for the 3rd, its coming out soon. Like, today soon.
Flatland: What kind of stuff? Farming supplies, stone, iron, dungeons, stuff to make it not repetitive.. All those stuff ruin the sole purpose of the map. That may ruin the purpose, but there is not much to do besides making a wooden creation of some sort.
The Arena: The map is ment to make the process a whole lot easier. Still, I am sure people don't want to build in a small spot made by an anonymous user. Oh,don't worry. They will. Let's hope so.
Sky Lands: I've already heard enough about this one. Yep. I dont really have anything to say about this one...
Sonic Land: ...Was made a MONTH after Sonic Lost World Crafted. I'm stupid. There isn't even a download for it anyway so I will assume it is like Lost World. It isn't I'm intrigued now.
Animal Crossing Craft: This one actully did take me a while to make so... Well, it is a parkour and maze simulator. I see why it took a while. It's hard to make Animal Crossing in Minecraft. Who says? Me.... We'll see how it goes.
It's okay, I know your map will be a success anyway. Hopefully.
By legend, you mean the application? That's why I have that poll up xD, to see what people think of it. Probably will change it.

Yeah, I totally agree with you on Creativity, and diffuculty was spot on. Okay.. Detail was so and so, considering I meant to do the tnt stuff, it was to give it an apocolyptic theme. I would realize the theme if you spread the TNT out. Most of the space I saw was regular terrain, not TNT grounds. I hadn't planned the second one at the time. Gameplay and Experience, agreed. I hope your anxious enough for the 3rd, its coming out soon. Like, today soon. Today soon? How long did you spend working on it? Hope it has been a while.
New review time.
The Portal Room by TheRedBanana7. Creativity: 2.5. The Portal thing was genius, I was not expecting that. However, the obstacle course at the end was my least favorite part, it was just parkour, no portal puzzles anywhere. (stupid dispenser arrow thingy) Difficulty: 2. I found the portal puzzles to be a little easy (I love Portal and Portal 2), but it was a nice steady difficulty curve. But, the obstacle course frustrated me, it was a big step up from the puzzles... I see why you put it at the end. Detail: 2. Bland testing chamber iron block thing. I suggest using quartz for block variation. The redstone mechanics definitely bumped the score up, especially during the minecart ride. Gameplay and Experience: 2.5. From the forum thread I was somewhat intrigued though ready to give the map an average score. But you surprised me. The obstacle course may have ruined the fun a little bit, however I enjoyed the majority of the adventure thoroughly. Overall Score™: 2.5+2+2+2.5 = 9/12. Above Average. Looking forward to Parkour Like A Zombie...

Hope your ready! Prison Escape 3, uploading to PMC, here, and Yogscast forums!Hope you enjoy the stuff in it and the suprise ending! I added more detail, it looks more like a prison. Less mobfighting too, there is a lot of it, but in one part only. Prison Escape 4 (the probable end to the story) will have more of my ideas I had incorporated in it.

Name of Map: Prison Escape 3 (the one EVERYONE HAS BEEN WAITING FOOOOORRRR) Link: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1914253-survadv-prison-escape-3-some-parkour/ Genre: CTM, ADV, Minigame, etc: ADV and SURV. Not as much adventure. Also some parkour ^.
What makes your map deserve to be played: If you can't find any reasons put N/A. The better the answer, the faster the review comes in. the second was liked more, but not as popular, and the first was very popular but not as much likes. Hopefully this will balance the two.
I added more detail, it looks more like a prison. Less mobfighting too. There is a lot of it, but in one part only.
About it some more, it is kind of Saw-themed with the traps, while still keeping a trapped/prison escape tinge to it. It has that creepy-GLaDOS-like person as the guy who has you trapped. Try not to jump off and "escape" on the ground. Follow the story. Is your map for Singleplayer? If not, it can't be reviewed: Yes or No: Yes. This one is actually COMPLETELY SINGLEPLAYER. I need to add in to it to where it is also multiplayer (can be played as it). Won't take much, just simple adding into one chest. Estimated Completion Time: 10-15 minutes, maybe 20. I agree that if the review is harsh you will not rage: Yes or No: Yes, only no if it gets lower than the first, and it won't be much of a rage as of "Why?" and "The reason..." etc.
I do like some of your questions, so I replaced them accordingly.
I looked at the map for one second and then...
YES
YOU DID WHAT I ASKED FINALLY. Making something like this shows you have potential. I knew it. Best map I have seen from you. Expand it for even more replayability. After you get the hang of making survival maps... what about other, lesser seen genres?
The next step: originality. Creativity. Remember SkyLands? It was too much like Skyblock. This is the same thing.
I want something I have never seen before.... See if you can figure that out.
It's your opinion, but I personally believe it is like SkyBlock, the gameplay is similar and it is on a floating island. It's a good map, but I've played survival maps a lot, I know what is common of them. Nice that you made renewable resources and challenges though. One step toward being a great mapmaker, I just know it.
Since I've pretty much told you all I need to say, I'll give a rating now. Flatland Survival 2 by G_And_OStudios Creativity: 1.5. It is over the water but it is a floating island, too much like SkyBlock. Difficulty: 2.5. Since you put in more challenges and renewable resources, the difficulty is perfect but grindy (we saw that in SkyBlock also, whatever) Detail: 1.5. Remove some cobble trees in the Nether, Overworld is good.. maybe block variation? Gameplay and Experience: 2. You did it. You created a good survival map. I'm proud of you. Overall Score™: 1.5+2.5+1.5+2 = 7.5. Average. Now create something new.
Another review. Parkour Like A Zombie by TheRedBanana7. Creativity: 2. It's parkour, but you used a variety of blocks and command blocks to vary the gameplay. I liked the "parkour like a mob" idea though I treat it as a gimmick. Difficulty: 1.5. Some parts were harder than others, I didn't see a good difficulty curve. Very challenging though. Detail: 1.5. Floating blocks with one-color walls, randomly generated houses for villagers. Don't make the blocks float next time, try to blend it into the environment. You have talent to make houses for villagers, I saw your pineapple. Gameplay and Experience: 2. Obviously, I didn't enjoy this as much as The Portal Room. It is just parkour. However, the gameplay was challenging if not frustrating and the idea was great. You have great talent. Trust me. Overall Score™: 2+1.5+1.5+2 = 7. Average. Moral of the story: Don't create parkour maps and create ones like The Portal Room. Kay? Kay.

Kay? Kay.
