Remember one of the most important rules of CTM Maps "You may only find wool for the monument inside fleecy boxes, you can't craft it nor use normal wool". The mapmaker is free to build with any block he wants in the map, the player has to play with the limitations stablished in the map. That is a mistake that some of us (mapmakers) are making, not using wool for constructions.
Let's see, in Overload there is an area that has red wool as decoration (If I remember correctly, Gelidor Complex), and nobody took it for the monument.
Maybe I missed the conversation, but what do you guys think, will the 1.9 "dual wielding" have huge influence on ctm-maps or maybe minor like blocking?
Also gage pet.
Dual wielding weaposn would make the game too easy, so they are probably going to only allow certain items in the other hand, so, it won't hurt the map, but instead add more possibilities, and make combat better!
Hi there guys, with my old laptop i do this. Any thoughts?

I really like the colours of the blocks you chose. Also, I'm not sure if this is intentional but the light and dark spots really add to the vortex feel
So, I have found a reoccurring problem in my next CTM map for Minecraft 1.8. The problem is that mobs will walk and respond to damage very slowly. (i.e.. I will punch a mob and it will respond slowly to the punch. Then, it will very slowly move in the air from the knockback.) If anyone knows how to fix this please tell me. (I am thinking about switching to 1.7 to try to fix it, but replacing all the items in chests will be a pain)

I have had this problem in the past, and I never found out what caused it or what I did to fix it.
After some research, I've found that pretty much no one has an explanation for this. When I have problems like these, I usually do a nice little technique that fixes things like this most of the time. Copy all of the files in your ".minecraft" into another backup, make sure the backup is NOT called ".minecraft". When this is done, get rid of the ".minecraft" that is in %appdata%. (this can be easier by just clicking and dragging ".minecraft" to another location, just don't forget to rename it!). Next, start up minecraft and you will get a completely fresh ".minecraft", put your map into your new minecraft and see if the lag continues.

The thing is, I have a feeling that this weird lag/glitch may happen to other players, so I will just have to go to 1.7 and make schematics of every single chest and put them in the 1.7 version map. Whelp, if I look at the bright side, I didn't finish the map before I noticed this problem, so I don't have as much work to do.
After two months in the making, I finished completely the aesthetic part of "Resurgement Of The Reinforcements", Inert Empire's light gray wool. This area and the monument are the ones that consumed the most time of development (Alma Imperia has 14 hours, while this area has 11 hours). I started the light gray wool two months ago and today it is really finished.
It's pretty big. Taking this picture was almost impossible because of the rendering system in 1.7.4.

Just after taking those screenshots with the render at 16 chunks and a consumed memmory of 90%, this happened:
Hello, I've been looking for a new ctm map to play.
I've been playing minecraft survival for awhile now (several years), but I'm fairly new to ctm maps. However, I played Terra Restore a few months ago, and enjoyed it. What would be a good easy- or medium-difficulty ctm map for someone who doesn't have a lot of experience with them?
(A 1.8 map would be preferred, but I'm open to other suggestions.)

My first map is pretty bad, but if you want a CTM for 1.8 to play, then click this link.
Looks like red wool to me.
It is red wool, but the area is the white one.

You have to remember the rule previously said.
Just to warn you Dylan the first map is a bit easy (according to Fang)

Awesome Vortex effect!
Now, do we see the top or the bottom? In other words, void or no void
I started an LP of Simulation Protocol 2. I'd really appreciate it if you guys could give it a watch.

Cool video Infamy!
Your skin is amazing.
Is it better currently to make maps for 1.7 than 1.8? The mob changes in 1.8 aren't exactly the best for CTM maps...
