Alright guys community question but please pm it to me since im going to bed now. Who would you like to see as guest for the ctm podcast, Ill post them all here tomorrow in one post
Um I'd like to see me as a guest for the podcast lolkthx
I have realized that I have not played a complete CTM since I beat The Fire Beneath...wow, I need some catchup time.
Also, Community Question-
What is(In your opinion), the greatest map that you have ever played?
From what I hear Vinyl Fantasy II is amazing.
Monstrosity puts every map to shame like seriously it is freaking amazing go play it naow.
Im on a Minecraft/mapmaking hiatus so I may not be around for a little while sorry to everyone that was looking forward to TGP in the next week as it will probably be delayed for another two weeks sorry guys and talk to you soon.

Excuse me? What is this Monstrosity map you speak of?
A few mapping questions (yes actual mapping, not ...):
How does the terraforming toolkit ore command kit work? What are the arguements?
I'm trying to change selected regions biomes in mcedit using the pre-installed set biome filter. It comes up with the an anvil chunk error. Is this an old filter? If so where can I find an updated one?

I've actually never heard of the terraforming toolkit ore thingamabob, but I know what your problem is with the setbiomes filter. For some reason or another, the filter is very picky and will spaz out if your selection box is outside of generated chunks.

For the biome change i suggest just using worldedit. Make a region selection and type /setbiome (biome). Then reload the world with f3+a or just relogg
So after my favourite area of Intersection 1 in Trinity Woods collapsed last night, I now feel as though I just wanna scrap everything and start again with it. The whole map. Maybe build a simple map instead, you know, with areas that are the right way up AND WON'T GET RUINED IF THE WATER FALLS DOWN SDFJHDGFJDNVDJKFHGIUAD
Nah, would just require me pasting back in the backup I made in anticipation of random block updates. I was silly for keeping it in the map really, it's such a delicate area x_x
But anyone who knows me should know I change my mind like that, and the amount of times I start again after something small goes wrong... ask Torien xD
If it's Mirror Lake, don't you dare restart on that. It's freaking gorgeous.
This map is just turning out to be a huge, unbalanced piece of askdjfshdgkfnddjgfn. Been having doubts for a while with it, need to step back and reconsider. x_X
Just keeping going with area designs for now! Balance can come later.
Also, Fang, when did the rule come in that WIP map threads have to go in the discussion forum? Karrotts has just been moved while loads of ours never did x_x
I saw that actually. I've never really considered it a rule once you've got a fair number of images and an obvious intent to release. If need be, I'd be more than happy to move it back, though I'll likely PM the mod that moved it about it to see what his views are.

Like Fang said, you should keep it, it looked amazing.
Something you could possibly try to keep it from collapsing again is adding a layer of block 36 under the water. It's invisible, you can fly through it, and won't completely disappear if you only update one block. If you do accidentally update a block of it, just pause the game really quick, hop into MCedit, delete the falling water and replace the block that got destroyed. Simple!
Also, about restarting, I can only say please don't. What you've shown of the map so far looks really good, and even if the balance is off, that's what alpha and beta testing is for. I tend to think of the indev stages of the map as getting the builds up and the aesthetics mostly finished. Balancing it all out comes later, though you can put placeholder loot and spawners in place, and see if they work in testing. I understand it's easy to get discouraged about your own work. Heck, I've been going through that with Dreadsky Depths recently. But scrapping everything and starting over is not the way to go, much less is it productive or even helpful most of the time.

I'd just be worried because there's less traffic in the discussion forum so not as many people will notice the map or support it. But it is Karrott's map, so it should be his decision really xD
Thanks for the support guys! I would love for it to be moved back if thats possible fang
I actually really like that second picture, Vitto. The bedrock actually looks nice in that area. The first looks nice too, but you might want to consider not having all the trees be vanilla trees. Add a few MCedit trees perhaps (using jungle wood and leaves, of course) and it'll definitely spice things up a bit.
Finally got my essays out of the way (to anyone on Skype, I apologize for my constant raging while doing them!) so I have today and tomorrow to Minecraft!
Gonna use that time wisely and try finishing Aima!
At Intersection 2 atm, completed Tunnels and Tower. That tower. The amount of mobs when I was done with it. Phew.

Furries are cool.
This map is by far the greatest CTM map I have played, I was talking to Fangride about it and he had similar views it is really epic!
TheFacetiousFolk and I have recorded up to intersection two at this point :).
I bet your hair is worse than James Roday's, though!
Map by CFG, looks pretty cool.

Is it hard to fix? :'(

Or heck, turn it into a 1-intersection minimap!
