It probably will. And when it does, I think we're going to make an open-world map, probably with an urban theme. Think "giant city map". We were discussing it a little, and if we go with this idea, it would be a sort of thing where there'll be plenty for everyone to do. Placing buildings on the surface, making underground dungeons, stuff like that... I suggested that maybe the biggest, best, and most fitting dungeons would end up having wools, and other dungeons could have good loot. I think one of the biggest problems we ran into with the first map is that people can't really work on other people's areas, so a lot of people sorta stopped working because they were done. There ought to always be stuff to do in the next map.
psst, I replied to you in my last post... don't know if you noticed.
that sounds awesome

Progress on my CTM map " @#!*% In Sky II":
"Rings Of Skies"(White Wool/Spawn) Finished
"Palace Of Doom"(Orange Wool/Iron Block) WIP
Feedback welcome!
The first area looks really good, although I agree with Zero it needs a little something more. I think maybe just a bit of sand on the inner ring might do the trick, but I'm not sure.
The interior of the second area is really nice looking so far, but the exterior needs a bit of work. Not really the palace itself, or the area below, but the platform the palace is sitting on. It just looks out of place. :/
And then, as Erie said, you got some nice oldschool aesthetics going on, and if you have good gameplay these are more than enough to make a great map.

add some grass and vines on the white wool, the pallete lacks colors that stand out, the top and the sides of the area are melded and aren't seperated, use a grass topsoil brush to give it a pleasing look
Apprently Fangride decided to delete a few posts i made here on a reply i had for him as well.
He said i was "advertiseing" yet, ...?... im not banned, and he didnt send in a report, and i have no warning point
for advertiseing?
I simply said the following: "very nice thread, I've passed it along to my subscribers as well. :)"
Or something to that effect, which he then said i 'have no subscribers'
I then replied, 'dude, i have 300+ subscribers to my email system on my website.'
Anyway, that was the gist of it. on to something else....
Im really loving playing on the Titan Map. Its pretty cool

I've actually been away for the past two days, and just have been catching up. Those posts were likely removed, if someone reported them, by someone else, as I'm not the only mod out there! I am the main one that uses this thread though, so it's more likely than not someone reported them, and whatever mod filled the report agreed with the reason and removed it, and any posts replying to it.
Don't worry, I'm not the type to go randomly removing things for no reason.
Also, if you would, could you link me your review section (PM preferably). The reason I replied as I did was because the link in your signature seemed largely inactive and I couldn't see any reviews, when I went to the forum section.
This is my 2000th post, and I've been saving it for quite some time now, waiting to do something special. (Uh apparently it isn't my 2000th? :S I swore I was at 1,999 last time I checked... Whatever.) I had thought of doing a name-list post, but considering my hiatus from the community, that seemed an odd choice. So instead, I give you a blast from the past...
My recently-recorded speedrun of Skeeto's map "Rugged Horizons".
Alright, this is probably not the most relevant video to the current topic. But it's a fun little project I felt like putting together to test out my new recording situation... and also an opportunity to return to an age-old competition between myself and Karrott, the previous record-holder of the map. It's been over a year and a half since he posted his WR run of 00:14:32,69, but I finally came back and beat him.
Also, since I've posted the above video, you might be interested to know that I may be posting youtube videos more frequently. I recorded some footage during a weekly gamenight of a small gaming community I'm a part of, the GAC, and that video is also available on my channel. I realized that most people around here probably haven't heard my actual voice before, so this is your chance. If I feel inspired, I may work on more Minecraft speedruns, or something else Minecraft-related, depending on inspiration. No promises.
So yep, that's my 2000th post and monthly check-in with you all. Cheers!

Ooooo! A speedrun <3. Welcome back Drago! Good job!
Write Fire:number from 1 to 32767 into SpawnData:{}. If it's set to 32767, fire is permanent. You have to add fire resistance as well.
Oh my god yes I can just sit back and not type this kind of stuff
Make sure to also set SpawnPotentials:None or it might mess up if you blockdata or if there is already a mob_spawner tile entity there.

You can tell how much he's really loving the Titan map!
Thanks for you sarcasim Is there a poblem with really.. really ..>REALLY liking a particular map?
Grim did a great job with the titan map series. Its pretty freaking fun so far! http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/maps/1555869-the-source-series-by-grimdeath
Its the first time i've ever played a 'build the machine' type of CTM map. Kinda a cool concept. I wish they would make the CTM
style of maps an actual difficulty level or "seed" for the launcher itself. It would def. add a lot more excitement in the vanilla game itself
Does anyone have any interesting ideas for loot for my Series YT9R? There aren't many weapons in Norse Mythos that I can find. I was thinking of making a diamond sword called "Ragnarok's Torment" with Smite VI, KB III and +0.6 KB Resist with +6 Health as a [Legendary Item] Any other ideas for Loot related to Norse Mythology?
With attributes you can change the playstyle of the map with one item, Attributes are crazy fun to mess with. [Legendary Item] are really rare in my series, around the Blue Wool is where you can find a blade like that, it basically kills normal undeads in 1-2 shots. It's a strong late game item but isn't OP as the monsters scale HP as you go on, zombies in White Wool areas will have 7HP and zombies in the Blue-Black will have around 25HP so you can't 1 shot them and steam roll the map as you get more gear.
My gear system is laid out like so.
[Common Item] 1st Intersection
[Uncommon Item] 2nd Intersection
[Rare Item] 3rd Intersection
[Legendary Item] 4th Intersection
[Mythical Item] 5th Intersection or really hidden in the 4th Intersection
Mythicals will be extremely rare and hidden in Lapis Chest Rooms (like in Inferno Mines) and really hard to find, maybe even special hidden bonus loot dungeons. Loot is fun to balance with a Rarity System

Im replying to this again since for some reason Fangride decided to delete the post....? i feel i should send in a report about him.
Deleteing posts and comments that are in no way advertiseing seems very.. un-moderator like. What do ya'll think.
Anyway, I really love the pics on this map and woudl be curious to check it out when you finish it.
Please let us know when your ready to upload, This cave looks great, makes me want to see the dragon your talking about

Not without shutting off all other spawns too. They won't update blocks though ;-)

If you're in 1.8, set up a clock with the command "/kill @e[type=Bat]". That should do it. If you're in 1.7 or before, sorry, no can do.
Maaaan that's awesome!!! Congrats!
Thanks both of you. Still trying to figure out the command blocks though.
