Anyone know what is happening with the community ctm map project since it looks nearly done except for a few areas, but they haven't seemed to be worked on in the last week?

We're been working hard on the details now. Only a few areas still need some proper work.
And I'm still here, MrRedstone. I've been through hell...and Ragecraft-going through Laingral now as well as the Simulation Protocol series, and Hikaro Jungle....Having a great time.
I'm a little tired tonight, but would anyone be interested in stream? I'm considering it after some soda...and then I can get my dinner and be generally awesome. I'll be posting my Twitter to my signature as well, so as to make getting touch with me easier...might help, Aura. Can't believe you never thought of that before.

Hey there all. I stream CTMs as well as other indiegames, RPGs and more. Check me out: www.twitch.tv/aurabolt
I have finished the mobs and loot for all areas except for the final four- all of which branch off from Intersection Four! #GettingCloser. After this CTM, I'm going to be so burnt out it's not even funny haha. I'm finishing it as speedily as I can guys
Alrighty, so I somewhat recently started trying to mapmake in 1.8 and I have a few things which I can't figure out how to do/am too lazy to figure out myself:
1. How would you pick up spawners so they keep their NBT tags, like how you can middle click chests while shifting and pressing ctrl? Doesn't seem to be the same for spawners. :/
2. How do you create those fancy 1.8 items that give you buffs and whatnot while you're holding them? Also, would you by any chance have an example schematic of the necessary redstoning and whatnot of it (not the best redstoner here )? I'd prefer if it was SMP friendly, but also SSP would be good.
@ #2 - type /entitydata @e[type=Item,r=5] {} after throwing an item of choice on the ground. You'll learn a lot.
You may then change the properties you see with entitydata. For example, to change the author of a book: /entitydata @e[type=Item,r=5] {Item:{tag:{author:"Name"}}} Do some research on attributes.
Edit:
Oh, and it looks like I missed introductions last month. Hi Al. I used to be active here in ye olde days, but now I'm in pseudo-retirement. I primarily make adventure maps (Diversity 2, The L'brour Mansion, Gloria) but in 2012 I branched out and started making CTM maps as well. Right now I am updating Frostburn, a miniCTM map I created last December. Fannygirdle and I go back a ways (was it 2011 when we met? I don't remember...). Otherwise, I probably won't be here for long; I'll be back when my next CTM map needs updating!
OK! So first off, make your posts more concise. Seriously no one wants to read that wall of text.
Secondly: Thank you for your insight, but you're right that it doesn't have the same credibility as someone who's been posting for three years or something. I still tried to take in your words without prejudice though, as I don't want you to feel alienated or anything of the sort.
Ok the third and biggest thing is that i have literally not seen anyone vehemently or even deliberately opposing Al's position here. Maybe some side comments or incredulous looks (can you give incredulous looks via the internet?) were given but otherwise people seem to have mostly accepted him. He's level headed, nice, and seems to really want improvement for the thread. So I'm not seeing that the bulk of this post was even necessary. (no offense just speaking my mind, sorry if i come off blunt here)
As another note, thanks for those practical tips at the end, their actually very useful and it would probably be good if we tried to implement those ideas.
And finally, Welcome! Sorry if I came off sounding mean, i know me criticizing you is not the best welcome you could get, but i do hope you stick around since you seem to have some good ideas and are level headed.
Aww, that Slime Warrior is so adorable. Means he's gonna die first, little buddy.
Hey there, Enleth. Thanks for those ideas, and that's quite the list-I wish mine was that large, but then again, I'm still growing into it. Have you ever recorded yourself playing or somesuch? How do you tend to play CTMs-quickly and aggressively? Slow and methodical? Thanks for joining this party.

Do you want to create full scale CTM map?
Hello everyone. I've come back to say hi to everyone. What's changed in the past oh... half-year or so?

CTMCommunity has a new admin.
Depressing thoughts about how CTM is dying.
Discussing ways to revive it.

Welcome back!
CTM isn't as popular because not many CTMs are coming out, or being played.
I would say the way to revive it would be to make new maps, and then those maps would need to get a lot of attention, probably through youtubers...
It sounds kind of obvious when I put it like that...

I may have to try AllUWant after all, that does look really convenient.
