@Zjarr Yeah, I've sorted that one bit now so it should be harder to get out of. And anyway, leaving the map boundaries is for suckers It's like taking the wool from the sails on the ship in RH, or taking the roses from the monument area in TGP. People can do it, but those who choose not to generally have a better time!
Yeah, I completely understand. I'm using wool for aesthetics as well. Glad you raised the wall a bit tho.
EDIT: Okay, can someone who uses a Mac for Minecraft answer a few things for me? For one, does the Mac use different file types for the .minecraft folder than the PC? Also, what mapmaking tools currently have Mac alternatives (MCedit, WE, SPC, etc.)? Or do you need to use alternatives at all? Just want to weigh my options if I decide to take a plunge and use our family computer for any infrequent mapmaking I decide to do.
The only thing is Kamyus tools which you need to install and open with wine bottler. (Would link but can't atm) everything else should be good:)
Welp, I use Kamyu's spawner tool for like every area of my map. Also, "wine bottler"? Is that some kind of alternative to Parallels or something?
EDIT: Also lol @ you guys with your time zones, it's 45 past midnight here and I'm still sticking it out like a trooper.
Winebottler opens .exe for macs. It doesn't seem to work for all .exe but it works for Kamyus tools. It's very easy to setup.
Install for w/e kind of Mac (10.6+,-10.6)
Run Kamyus tools
If you have any more Mac related questions I can help
