Do you like plummeting off of a one block bridge into the void? Would you like to take on an area where your only choice is to bridge? You have come to the right place. Infernal Sky II is a linear-branching map that takes place over the void itself. Make one false move *BAM* all your stuff is gone. Oh, but this sounds terrible doesn't it? That is the opposite of what this map is. With decent aesthetics and plentiful loot, you will find Infernal Sky II an easy, yet satisfying map. The aesthetics could use an update, as it mostly is based around stone, gravel, and a bit of sand. The lower points of this map are one broken area, easy black wool, and a semi-unbalanced green wool. Other than that, the map will leave you terrified of the void, yet craving more. Very few dungeons or areas are difficult, but that have that slight sting to them. Overall this map may be easy, but it is pretty enjoyable, I would recommend it to anyone new to CTM. Even veterans will find this map a nice break from the monotony of horrible death and despair.
Ahah... Bro, generally you ask people before adding them to the list. He said he was willing, not that anyone who wanted should add him to the list.
Allow me to revise that. I meant the TCOMH Invite beta list. Sorry for the confusion. Anyway, Torien's done so much for my thread, I can't believe I forgot to invite him earlier.

I'd gladly join (if invited).
When do you predict the map will be coming out?

Looking for a CTM map, you say? Just click on the banner and look no further!
I just figured out my testing phases for my maps
-Pi, the first phase where only the creator and a selected person has the map. I chose Pi because my name is Pieluvr and Pi sounds like Pie
-Alpha, the second phase is like closed beta
-Beta, the last phase which is basically open beta for everyone.
Translation: A 4 wool map is coming soon.
Every bloody CTM map series boasts that it's bigger, longer, and harder than other CTM series. It's almost as if it's a **** measuring contest. (bigger, longer, harder...)
don't worry, I gots me a plan, involving the first chapter, some blazes, and some zombie spawners.
also, I plan to do a weekly review of a random map from the map list, and post my review both here and on Planet Minecraft, hopefully spreading awareness of this thread.
Also, if it's not too much to ask, can I get a link to my thread somewhere in the OP? pretty please?

Good review, apart from one thing. The whole point of the map was to make a Fleecy Parachute, but it turned out that the Wools were to be placed on a monument instead! For this reason, I gave the map a lower score. Perhaps you should do the same?
Jk.
Btw a review request (for anyone): My new updated CTM, Skyward Ascent. Ploxorz. It's quite long, but reasonably easy.
Ill do one when I finish it but that might be like another 10 episodes...
Nope. And if you want us to be interested in what you're saying, dropping a bunch of meaningless names like that isn't the way to go. Instead of saying something casually like that in a manner that makes it sound like we should know what you're talking about, try posting a screenshot or two (can't remember if you have in the past or not), and giving us some area names to associate with them. Get hype building around your map, instead of simply talking about your map like you'd talk to yourself. It worked for me with DsI, and provided your map looks decent, it should work for you as well.
Well, the thing is... I'm extremely amateur at this, and it will probably be, well, bad. I'm afraid with too much hype, I will dissapoint people. Which is why I'm going to advertise as "POTENTIALLY THE WORST CTM MAP EVER!" and hope reverse psychology works

I can already tell you it won't. I understand being wary of too much hype, but under-hyping it, especially for a CTM mapmaker, is just as dangerous. If areas are legitimately bad, it's your job to fix it so that they aren't bad anymore. Either that, or you could post some pictures here and see if we have feedback to give to you. I cannot overstate enough how important feedback from other mapmakers is, especially while your map is still a WIP.
So yeah, if you were to take just one piece of knowledge from this, it's that you should post more pictures.
Also, we kinda have enough Spellbound reviews already, just for anyone who happens to read this and who might also happen to be wanting to write a Spellbound review up. I'm sure the next person to hop on the account will add your review, but you probably would have been better off reviewing another map.
(After I wrote this, I remembered that you said you just finished Spellbound in the SH thread, so it's forgivable. )
DAMMIT! (I knew it was one of them I'll go edit the post...)

This guy is pretty cool: Hey! I like, run this... or something:
Okay, I believe I've been given the go-ahead to sort out the upcoming maps list soon. This means I'll be adding links to threads and we'll be ensuring it's kept up to date more than we have been already.
What I want, in preparation, is for everyone who wants their map on the list to help me out a bit. Obviously anyone who I talk to regularly I know the links to their threads and the names of the maps, but everyone else, if you could all fill in this little form for me then I'd be grateful
Map Name: Series Name: (if no series then just leave blank) Thread Name and Link: What kind of CTM Map?: (using the categories found in the OP) Official Release ETA: (not necessary, but if you do have one in mind then I'd love to know it!) (not including Open Beta)
I understand all the big names won't be replying to this, in which case I'll have to do my research. But it's the smaller names I'm more worried about missing, so please, if you have an upcoming map then fill this in for me!
Thanks all!
Edit: It was suggested that we don't list maps that don't yet have a thread. What is everyone's opinions on this? It's easy for an upcoming map without a thread to be forgotten about, but all the same, having a thread gives the mapmaker more motivation to work on the map, so may make this list more reliable. If you don't currently have a map thread then argue your case, because I'm inclined to only list the ones with threads just so it's easier to keep up to date!
Welp. Me.

When do you predict the map will be coming out?
Since I have this week off from my school, I'm hoping to get a lot of work done and release the beta to my testers by late March-early April.

I'm aware. Just too lazy to change it.
Edit: Changed it. Happy?
Oooohhhh, Cam did an LP of that one. Great map. It'll take you a while, though!

YES. YES. YES.
That is going to be extremely hard, my good man. This is the map that slayed Sir Punchwood.
He's going to need a lot more than luck.

Hey! I like, run this... or something:
Wasn't I the one who mentioned it, and that caused you to want to play it...? Sorry, Dylan.
Didn't it slay him with a glitch in IWHF? That's what I've heard, I'm still catching up on the series.
That deserves it's own thread
