See, I would love to participate in this project, but I think because there's no common theme set, or any simple way for each contributor to determine the loot in each area (so we can balance out the map), I think I'll sit out for this one. If there was a central idea for each area (or at least, intersection) to be based on, I would be a bit more partial to this idea.
I think a Linear-Branching (Intersection-Based) map is a really strange idea for a community map. I'd recommend doing a Numbered Dungeon style map, where all the dungeons branch out from a central hub, and are numbered based on difficulty. Or, you could use a system where each area unlocks the next area, where you use command blocks to teleport the player back after they reach the end.
Actually, while I was reading over what I just typed, I think I have to try to contribute to this project in some sort. I’ll try to do Intersection 3, but it’s kinda tenative right now, due to the annoying fact that I’m kinda busy with IRL stuff. I’ll let you know ASAP if I can’t do this.
Thanks!
Ok, I think I'll give themes to the Intersections, but not to the other areas, that's a good idea. Would be great, if you take part in this project;)

btw. There will be command blocks to tp you to each dungeon.
Jollee, the chests don't actually have anything in them; I put them in there because I thought they were good places for loot, so you can add in whatever you feel is fitting.
I can't believe I finished this in one sitting.

Oh Hybran, don't be too enthusiastic about it. Jollee, I've started my area, just so ya know, and I'm making good progress.
And here's the download of the area:
I can't believe I finished this in one sitting.
