I'm reviving this old thread. No need to make a new one. I need playtesters for my latest update for The Brimstone Revival. If you have finished the map before (and enjoyed the map) I would appreciate a playtest.
What should a playtester be looking for?
-Clumsy errors (doors left open, patches of exposed redstone)
-Places where you get stuck (there is a glitchy anvil trap that works sometimes)
-Places where you get confused of what to do
-Suggestions
LOL! You start off dead and then go into creative mode. I don't know what that glitch is all about. You should switch to adventure mode when you hit the button to start the adventure.
The last version started smoother...
actually, It would be a cool beginning to start dead (but not for my map).
On v2.2., Some of the save points didn't work for me. I was out past the stone forest and I was responded in the nether part with the firetest (I think I made it to save point 4 or 5, and responded me at the tree fortress in the nether (Save point 2/9) Otherwise I've found the map very fun to play though thus far!

Thank you for the playtest. I will be checking those save points out. If you don't mind, would you be able to test those save points again, hitting the button and then dying =). If you could tell me which save points in particular don't work for you, then I can spend extra time checking the command blocks.
Does the map make sense? I watch some playthroughs on youtube and people get lost, but other people have no trouble. (Frankly, I think some people just don't read when they play).
The update is v2.2 test file

Okay, looks like I'll have to do another run through myself. If you did download the map, let me know before I drop the finished version tomorrow.Elfriiac: Whether or not you think its a good picture is in the eye of the beholder.
Mikathebest323: Are you referring to the description in the start menu? Or did you start in Creative Mode?

It's a beautiful picture of one of the gentlest creatures you'll ever find in an RPG.
