Got some awesome news, I got spc and worldedit for 1.4.5 and it's working amazingly! I also got the terraforming toolkit working.
For my map, I think I'll create a new unique area. I'll show you more later, but in case someone wonders what it is, just think of it as an obstacle for two fugitives.
witty you should know this.
Of course I do.
Being an absolute video gamer I know that game.
I also have the terraforming toolkit. I will probably stick to this version of Minecraft until I ultimately finish the map, then update with the map to the newest version.
Hey guys, I just finished one of the more time-consuming areas of my map, Avalon Fortress. I posted a final picture of it in my thread: http://www.minecraft...go/page__st__80
I also wanted to ask you guys if you have any interesting methods of making jagged structures of some sort. Shardveil Cove (the area I just started working on) is going to need a lot of those, and I just wanted to see if you guys could provide some tips. Thanks in advance!
So yeah, natural sharp and rough structures, like crags, that could be seen protruding from the sea.
Another way is make a number of sand spheres in midair, with a chance of like... 33 or something, at about 20x20x20 in side, than use an air brush, replacing sand only, at about a 5x5x5 size, with a chance of like 05 or so and use it over parts of the sand sphere. When done, go in game and poke the sand spheres and they'll fall down. After that, go back into MCEdit and turn them into whatever block you want.

Ooh, I like this. Gonna try it out and see what I get.
So, yeah. I'm definitly going to need 1.5 before I can finish this map. SO. MANY. AWESOME. PLANNED. FEATURES. THAT. I .NEED.
Honestly, at this point, im just stopping work on my map untill 1.5 because i am afraid they will break everything i have ever built, like they have with the last 6 patches. oh, and the new stuff to, waiting for that.

Also... It is REALLY snowing where I am...

Iv'e made most of my redstone equipment in mind of the comming update. I just need the industrial features 1.5 will bring to.
This place is really gonna come to life then...
I will keep working on the map though, mostly the non-less industrial areas.
The random spawners will also help me out in several areas.
(I changed the VM last night too. I have a few more ideas for it, but not sure if I will do them or not.)
E: also, I ACTIVLY test my map. As in, I spend more time in creative than MCedit. It's more fun for me that way.

I split it half and half. Half MCEdit, Half Creative.

Sadly, firework explosion damage is little. Hopefully we can edit the damage.

Every bloody CTM map series boasts that it's bigger, longer, and harder than other CTM series. It's almost as if it's a **** measuring contest. (bigger, longer, harder...)

Dangit, is it that time of year again
you know, Norway is fine and all, but snow 10 months a year can realy get to you. (the fact that i live ontop of a frikkin mountain may be part of the issue too)

Yes. And apparently in some areas of Canada it is supposed to be below average temperatures... I'm in one of those areas...
I think you should go to the Mine Little Pony thread. I just change my normal skin with the pony skin at minecraft.net.
okay, yeah, that's the problem...

I'm not worried about fireworks damage. If I do anything with them it would be for sparkscreens and the like. The main thing for me is the redstone and minecart stuff. My main concern is lag though...

Really? What part of Canada do you live in? Where I live (in Canada) it's cold and the streets were iced for the first time this morning, but no snow yet, which makes me sad

Yeah, but what I want is for the player to see the fireworks and say, awwww! Then get blown up by fireworks.

I really don't want to tell, but it is in the west.
True... True...

depends what you mean by "jagged"
"Adjective: with rough, sharp points protruding."

MCedit brushspecs
replace brush circle
chance: 20
L: 5-9
W: 5-9
Height: 20-40
Play around with that and see if it's what you need.
You're asking for seabed rock spikes, right?
(OFF topic: Pieluvr, how do I change my minelittlepony skin?)
