Hey everyone. I need some help with making a Christmas tree for SearFrost Desert and when I mean some help I mean help me make a Christmas tree. I prefer the tree to be 6x10x6.

Every bloody CTM map series boasts that it's bigger, longer, and harder than other CTM series. It's almost as if it's a **** measuring contest. (bigger, longer, harder...)
Oi, Isaac. Stop getting so down about it. It's a good map, and there are a load of us who can vouch for that. Don't be ashamed by it - the only problems there are problems that probably everyone has at some point. Look at how well the map is actually doing, and stop calling it crap. That's an order.
Well, if you liked Humble Beginnings, let's just say you're REALLY going to like my next maps.
And kaaaaid don't steal mah ideas D:
There's going to be a waterfall area like that in Lush Skies I MEAN WAT DID I SAY
EDIT: OMG OMG OMG OMG BDII IS OUT AHHHHH *spazzers sdjfhkjhs*
Yup, its totaly broken, im not playing it at all.
*heads back to my map*
still dont know what LA stands for... google HOOO!
Los Angeles, Louisiana, Lingual Arts, Latin America, Locational Apparatus, Lyrical Agony....
My map has invincible chickens at the VM. <3
I'm also gonna put this guide person in every area (including the VM room). He will be in a bedrock room with a machine that can give you the currency item (Piston head) for 5 XP each, and he will have several offers that let you get better equipment for higher XP. The first offer will always be a book for 1 CI that I write that talks about the area and may give "hints" to beating it. This should allow for better recovery and encourage a more diverse approach than "Run in, kill monsters, get wool, grab loot, escape."
What do you guys think?
I also wanted to ask you guys if you have any interesting methods of making jagged structures of some sort. Shardveil Cove (the area I just started working on) is going to need a lot of those, and I just wanted to see if you guys could provide some tips. Thanks in advance!

There was a similar system in The Soul Cauldron by Jigarbov, but that was more based on solving puzzles. I like that concept, and it kind of acts like a reward system for fighting mobs.

Looking for a CTM map, you say? Just click on the banner and look no further!
I saw your post on the mindcrack subreddit, so I gave your map a spin. I quite liked the look of your areas, and I thought you incorporated all the LPers nicely, but, in my honest opinion, it was poorly balanced. It seemed like you just saw a space and thought, "Oh, you know what would be cool here? A spawner" without really thinking about what that would actually do to the gameplay. The constant void over the small sections were unnecessarily nerve-wracking. I liked all the custom loot, but a lot of it didn't fit with the area/Let's player you were trying to showcase. I just didn't feel like the loot/spawners meshed together all that well. I really liked the way you built areas in that player's building style, it gave it quite a nice touch. The copy/pasted glowstone "stars" were a good idea, but ended up a little ugly. All in all, I thought it was a nice tribute, but a sub-par CTM map, though still fun to play. This is just my opinion, of course.
Thanks! This is my first CTM map and second map, and any constructive criticism helps a lot. The stars were ugly... I added them to tone down the natural spawns that come with a small world. As I said this was my first ctm map and you will see as the map progressed my skills did too. The void added a big risk which I wish I could of avoided but still got the same effect. Thanks so much for the help! I often build maps on my twitch page. www.youredstone.com and any help there would be great!
A few questions:
What system do you recommend for loot placement. (What should you give the player to start and what should they be given/make)
How do you suggest I place spawners in the future?
I find it very hard to manage gameplay aspects as it seems so easy for vechs what am I doing wrong?
Also did you find some parts to be too hard or too easy? Try the most recent update and tell me what you think.
Again thank you for your feedback it really helps to hear some advice from someone who knows what they are talking about.
Got some awesome news, I got spc and worldedit for 1.4.5 and it's working amazingly! I also got the terraforming toolkit working.
For my map, I think I'll create a new unique area. I'll show you more later, but in case someone wonders what it is, just think of it as an obstacle for two fugitives.
So, yeah. I needed a stress reliever this afternoon, so I decided to give Intersection 1 a complete makeover.
I'm starting to push the evil factory theme more and more.

Woah, I LOVE IT!!!!!! I really can't wait to play it. I'm gonna get the mine little pony mod and play this map as derpy with my siblings.
Edit:Teaser
This is not the finished product just an unfinished area.

Just need to finish my FLA project...
That would probably require an XML file that defines areas that are adventure and areas that are survival... Might want to look into that.
i have no idea what FLA is, but it cant be more important than BD2...
FLA stands for French LA. I'm guessing you know the rest. But I am finished...
AND HAVE DA MAGENTA WOOL!
-builds a bunch of puzzles and an area for Septum Immoriel in one day-
