The Story: Arthigar is one of the largest kingdoms in the large continent of Farikel. It is home to many different people, animals, and a wide variety of terrain. It was risen by King Julius Arthigar and continues to rule much of the land in Farikel. Many see King Arithgar as a strong leader, and follow his every move. But some people believe he is a traitor, working for the evil Dearith Lord, Seakithiel. But all believe the four Gods Faeijthrick, Lydiaria, Tokrith, and Daralith control everything that happens in the land. However, Daralith, the God of weather and fire, is believed to be a servant of Seakithiel. This angered the three other Gods, now known as the Three Loyal Gods, and has brought a war between them. But with the rise in awareness of Daralith's practices, Tokrith is influenced, and all the Gods began fighting, bringing famine and death to the Thelmer below.
The Quest: Your quest is to learn how to stop the Gods from fighting before the whole population of Arithgar is killed.
Faeijthrick- The God of Heaven and the Afterlife; he is considered the most powerful God, as well as the leader of the others.
Lydaria- The Goddess of Love and Dreams; she is often worshiped by married couples. People also pray to her before going to sleep so that they have nice dreams.
Tokrith- The God of the Forges and War; warriors often pray to him before going into battle.
Daralith- The God of Weather and Fire; he is sometimes depicted as a frightening demon. This is probably because he uses his powers to bring doom to those who do not follow his orders.
Wayport- Wayport is the capital of the empire. It controls much of the trade entering Arithgar, and it is home to the Arthigar Navy. It also is home to King Arthigar's castle.
Brightwood- Brightwood is a small city home to many skilled people, specializing in a variety of talents such as art, architecture, blacksmithing, and cooking. It has a considerably sized army, large enough to protect the city for a few days while help arrives from other cities or towns.
Abeon- Abeon is the main provider of resources such as coal, iron, gold, redstone, and diamonds to the rest of Arthigar. It is a very wealthy city, and is home to some large houses, owned by the wealthiest in Arithgar.
Daralith City- Daralith City is a harsh city, located in the Daralith desert. Many thieves and assassins reside here. It is also home to the Killers Guild, a group of highly skilled assassins.
Mount Paramyth- The Mount Paramyth Summit is the highest point in Arthigar. In the side of the mountain, near the summit, there are some ancient ruins. Nobody, not even the Gods, know what they are.
Solitual Plains- Often called the "Great Arctic Plains," it is one of the harshest places to live in Arthigar. Only one person lives there, and nobody has even seen his face.
Faeijthrick Lake- The Great Lake dedicated to the God Faeijthrick.
Lydaria Lake- The Great Lake dedicated to Lydaria.
Tokrith Lake- The Great Lake dedicated to Tokrith.
Onduin River- A small river connecting the Three Great Lakes.
Mythian Ruins- Ruins of the ancient Mythians. It is unknown what these ruins hold inside.
Icewrath Point- Part of Solitual Plains that broke off thousands of years ago.Daralith Desert- Unlike the other Gods, Daralith has a Desert named after him. This is a large desert that Daralith City is located in.
Nocht Island- A small island with the Temple of the Gods. Nobody is permitted to live on the island, as it is a holy island.
Falindad Swamp- A large chunk of land swamped with water.
Icewater Ocean- The great ocean that Farikel is located in.
Daralith's Pit- A large pit in the ocean near Daralith City. The other Gods claimed this pit to be Daralith's entrance to the Nether, making it an unholy location, therefor not on maps.
Arthigar is home to many races of people from all over Farikel.
In the map, races will determine your way of fighting, and are basically classes.
Thelmer- The Thelmer are the dominant race in Arthigar; they were the ones to first settle the land of Farikel. They are great warriors, and often use swords and bows.
Bonuses in the map: can use swords and bows
Averians- The Averians are calm and peaceful people of elven decent. They are usually very skilled in magic and stealth, often becoming mages, or sometimes thieves. They have sharp, angled features and light gray skin.
Bonuses in the map: can use "spells" (potions, typically splash potions)
Saven- Saven are typically evil because they are decedents of the ancient Dearith. They often practice necromancy, the art of raising the dead. They also call upon the powers of fire.
Bonuses in the map: can use flint and steel; can use lava; can use zombie spawn eggs
Tuer- The Tuer are an elusive group of people, and come from the great rain forests of Tuera. They are insect-like and exhibit strengths of both warriors and mages. They often use their small wings to jump rather than fly, allowing them to avoid enemy attacks easily.
Bonuses in the map: can use the Jump Boost potion; gets stone swords and few spells (potions)
Farikel is an ancient and very historic continent, and is only neighbored by Avergoth, home to the Averians. It is often a symbol of wealth, hope, and dreams, and is home to many immigrants from all over the world, of many varying races.
(Note: B. E.- Before Ender; A. E.- After Ender)
2,578 B.E. - 2,000 B.E.:
Thelmer, the dominant species in the world at the time, migrated from the cold northern regions of the world down to what is now known as The Death Spires. At the time, this was a region full of luscious, green forests with trees tall enough to live in. It had a warm climate, and had very fertile soil suitable for farming. This age is commonly known as the Golden Migration. Thelmer had no enemies, and were feared by many animals native to the area. They began excelling in technology, developing weapons first from wood, but began using much stronger and durable materials such as stone and even iron. Food was easy to come by, and soon massive wheat farms were developed, spanning acres upon acres of land.
2,000 B.E. - 1,734 B.E.:
After a few hundred years had passed, other races had learned of the presence of the Thelmer down south, and soon began migrating too. They had no bad intentions, but the Thelmer were too afraid to let everything go, and took the new people as a threat. The first race to migrate to the Thelmer (now calling their settlement Farikel) were the Averians. The Averians are elf-like people that are excellent hunters and gatherers. They are normally a peaceful group of people, worshiping the gods of nature, and connecting with the wildlife. However, they were generally mistaken as an "evil" group of people because of their angled features, which at the time made Thelmer people believe they had supernatural powers. Soon the Human-Averian war broke out, and after years of battle, the Thelmer defeated the Averians. It was then the Thelmer decided they needed a form of control and order upon their people.
1,734 B.E. - 1,000 B.E.:
The winter after the Thelmer defeated the Averians, a King was chosen to rule the Thelmer, to keep peace and order upon society. The man chosen was King Edvare Orvisteed, coming from a wealthy family. The decision soon proved to be wrong. In the first few years of his rule, King Orvisteed spread the rule of Farikel , and it eventually reached hundreds of miles away from the original settlement. Rivalry began after other races began to also develop their way of life, and invasions plagued the land of Farikel. Farikel was envied because of its wealth and land, and was a prime target for other kingdoms wanting to expand their territory. Over the next 700 years, the kingdom grew even larger, controlling much of the land it was located on. Religions began popping up, the main one known as Faeijthrism, and revolved around one main god, Faeijthrick, and many others. Other notable religions are Suzubahk, a religion focused upon worship of the single god Suzuwrahh, a believed demon. Another religion was Maerathy, where there were no gods worshipped, only the strong leader and founder Maera. Maera was believed to have many powers, and when prayed to, she would heal any wounds.
1,000 B.E. - 486 B.E.:
This time period was referred to as the Farikel Golden Age. It was a time of inventions and great achievements made by Farikel and its people. Miners found large deposits of minerals such as gold and even diamond. They also found a mysterious stone known as Redstone. Redstone broke down into a powder when mined, as was very weak, but it could carry an unknown form of power. This strange material was used often in security for secret government structures, but also by more intelligent people. They made complicated contraptions, and even invented other objects using Redstone. Aside from the discovery of Redstone, many other breakthroughs were made. Blacksmiths developed ways of making the new diamonds into blades that brought fear to the eyes of opponents of Farikel. They also used them to make armor, which almost guaranteed survival and victory in battle. Other inventions such as minecarts, clocks, compasses, and other useful items also helped at the time.
486 B.E. - 1 A.E.:
In the next 400 years, Farikel was plagued with disease. The disease turned dead human bodies into undead beasts. The monsters roamed the cities at night and attacked innocent people. The disease was thought to have been brought over by the Averians during one of their many attacks. Some thought they brought it on purpose, as a secret weapon undetectable by warriors. The sickness spread throughout the land, and Farikel's people grew used to the presence of the undead, and adapted to them.
But it was only the beginning.
Other monsters awoke at night, and was proven to be a call by the zombies. Soon reanimated skeletons were joining the zombies on their attacks. They often carried human weaponry, most commonly a bow. Some people thought that they were forced to join the monsters to avoid death, and were forced to help them in any way possible. An alchemist, his name unknown, developed a potion to grow common spiders to an alarming size, and bred them. Years later, he unleashed his monsters to join the horde of the undead. Many other beats joined the murderous rampage, too. One of the most frightening beasts was known as "The Creeper," as it was very silent. They exploded to kill, and destroyed many cities. But they weren't the worst. The most feared beast of them all was a tall, slender being. They soon were called the Endermen, and were sent by a being from another dimension. They ripped apart walls to kill victims, and attacked upon eye contact. They also unleashed another dimension, one not of their own. They unleashed one of the most frightening places in the world: The Nether.
The Nether was the underworld, where all went upon death. The first Enderman to enter Farikel created the first portal, unleashing the beasts from within. Soon Ghasts and Blazes entered the Overworld through this portal, and would terrorize Thelmer beyond belief. It was even rumored that Ghasts had an unsatisfiable hunger for the human soul, and would stop at nothing to get it.
All of this terror began with one single Enderman, who later revealed a darker evil, one that struck fear into the hearts of even a Ghast. The EnderDragon was controlling every monster in Farikel, and would stop at nothing to see it fall.
1 A.E. - Present:
In the present day, Farikel is still in fear of all the beasts that roam the land at night, but they have been working on removing them from existence. The Nether Portal was destroyed, which took care of many of the more frightening monsters, but the undead and Creepers still roamed the land. However, one kingdom, known as Arthigar, had something to it that "weakened" the beasts. It was believed that the Gods favored Arthigar, and helped to remove the evil from it, but even they could not succeed. It unknown if the monsters will ever leave Farikel for good, but until then, it cannot hurt to fight.
