This is an adventure map for 1-2 players. It takes 30-60 minutes to complete. It is a small map with lots of fun and challenging obstacles that will put you on the edge of your seat. This map includes: Boss fights, parkour, puzzles, lots of easter eggs & hidden loot!
I personally recommend that you play this map with shaders. I also recommend that you play some background ambience adventure music when playing, I recommend this track:
This map is actually the 2nd version of The Dungeon of Death that I first published 6 years ago, it has been completely reworked and is infinitely better now. Moreover, the complexity of the map has also been increased to make it take longer than before. This has been my own personal project that I 100% built by myself, I have poured my soul into it and I really sincerely hope that you enjoy this map. Hey Astrozi! I just finished your map and I loved it. I really like rpgs/roguelike games and your map has a nice mix of combat and exploration aspect. It kind of reminded me of an old school adventure map, simple but entertaining.
Here are most of the things that I would change:
-Adding a bed or spawnpoint in the mine. If you die you have to go back all the way again and you can die many times. I think spiders spawn rate is too quick.
-You are given a torch to use it in dark areas, like in the mine, in exchange of using the shield, which I think is a nice trade, but to have the torch lighting, you need to have Optifine or a mod. It would have been nice to know that or to have had more torches to place them.
-I would have like to see more distinguished areas and a shower and sauna room are a bit weird for a medieval/fantasy map but it's okay.
-Seeing the outside of the map at the end, was weird considering you still have to go to the village to deliver the diary and the design was honestly lazy, as you can see that it is a flat word and that breaks the ambience. Maybe delivering the diary to the soldier could be the start of a second part of this map.
