Back when I first got Minecraft, which was around 2012 if I remember correctly, there was a server that my younger brother and I enjoyed playing on. It was called FiendCraft, and it was owned by a user of the name of Fiend. After a couple months, Fiend announced that he was shutting down the server, and while I had a job at the time, I didn’t have a means to purchase the server. After a few years, I mostly played the Bedrock version of Minecraft, but I recently found the external hard drive with my old Java Minecraft on it.
I’m wondering if there is a way to retrieve an old server map from 8 or so years ago? Would there be some form of archived version that could be retrieved? Or has it been too long, and I’m just out of luck?
if u have the server downloaded on your drive, you can just go on : C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft and find the file, but if it was a actual multiplayer server the only way is by contacting the server administrator or to man, who have access to the server files.
