Herobrine Survival is a multiplayer Minecraft 1.12 map designed to be played with 2 or more players. It started as a small game I played with my friends on a local network. After some time I remembered the idea of it and decided to make a multiplayer map out of it, using the world from our session and adding command block systems to improve it.
At the start of the game players will be distributed into two teams: Herobrine and Survivors.
Survivors' Objective is to destroy the Herobrine's altar completely. That is the only way of defeating him. Herobrine's Objective is to prevent the Survivors from breaking the altar for as long as possible.
Both teams get briefing at the start of the game. Technically, Herobrine cannot win here, as there is no permanent death for Survivors and no objective, other than the above stated one, for Herobrine. A Herobrine victory would be if he managed to keep his altar for the longest time.
Both teams can contain an infinite amount of players, though I recommend 1 Herobrine per 4 Survivors, just to make it fair. I also don't set ANY necessary rules for it - it depends on the players' decisions, although I'd recommend Herobrines to play it fair - don't obstruct the altar with unbreakable bloks or trap Survivors in cages they can't get out of. Also the most important recommended (again - not necessary, because Herobrines can easily counteract it) rule for Survivors - don't break the altar unless you have an iron pickaxe.
Herobrine players are recommended to have the Herobrine skin - though it's not needed, as the system gives all Herobrines the clothing same to the original skin. Herobrines also have Creative mode and infinite Invisibility, allowing for even more scary Survivor gameplay. Herobrine can use any items and any admin commands to stop the Survivors.
There are no restrictions for Survivors whatsoever. They can use any means of defence against Herobrine.
The Game Master The Game Master is a person who owns everything. If we take an example where players are using LAN, the Game Master would usually be the host (at least that's what is intented). He is basically an admin. He is the one who can set the game rules. He watches the game go on, the players, punishes those who have to be punished. As it is with Herobrines and Survivors, more than one Game Master is allowed - it is up to the main one to take co-admins or not. Game Master also shouldn't be participating in the game (e.g. helping either teams) but can watch it.
When you first load in the map, you spawn in the Admin Room. This is the home of the Game Masters. In front of you will be a chest with the Map Starter Guide, which contains further information on how to start the game and play. There is also a huge control section in the Admin Room. You can edit various game settings via command blocks. Some instructions are given on specific command blocks. Other players will spawn normally near the Herobrine altar.
