Version 1.1 and "Boss Fight" resource pack are now available!
Welcome to the map called "Illusioner's Fortress". You will try to survive in dangerous depths of the brick pyramid that is also a home for Illusioner. There are many challenges waiting for you: parkours, riddles, fights and many other. Complete all of them and defeat the evil Illusioner!
In one of abandoned villages you have found an old map which showed a giant pyramid, somewhere in the middle of an ocean. You have just started your journey in hope to find hidden treasure, unaware of the danger waiting inside.
What is important?
These are Observing Eyes. Illusioner uses them to watch your progress. Usually they are on walls or inside boxes but sometimes you will have to defeat stronger enemy (boss) in order to obtain them. It's very important to collect every eye you will find because collecting enough numbers of them will unlock for you new rooms, better armors, furnace, enchantment table any many other useful things.
If you see this symbol then be aware that you are standing near room with stronger enemy (boss). Those enemies are really tough and they are usually protected by weaker enemies. Gather better equipment before you'll try to defeat them.
Throughout your journey you will encounter many items that you can get only once. It is very important to not throw them away or combine them. If you really don't need something, put it into one of many chests.
"Boss Fight" resource pack:
This resource pack brings back to game the "calm4" soundtrack, that remained in the game unused until its removal in 1.6. I always thought that this unusual soundtrack was actually quite good fight theme for tougher enemies. In that pack it replaces "mellohi".
Rules are simple:
* As usual don't cheat, don't use mods etc.
* Do not throw anything away (excluding fish), if you don't need something, just put it into one of chests
* Do not purposely kill yourself to regenerate your health or hunger
Pretty fun map, took me a few hours. One big problem is the severe lack of food; the only time I had enough food was in the very last part after the key door. The map is also pretty confusing to navigate. I would also suggest putting a large chest in the base room for storage, because you end up with a ton of enchanted books. I did like how there were just enough to put full protection 4 on the diamond armor if you saved all of them, as well as sharpness 5 sword and power 5 bow. Also, if you're going to put that many books, make it easier to get levels. Maybe have them as a reward for clearing rooms. I spent some time trying to grind xp but gave up and gave myself levels (that is the only cheating I did though)
