it seems that messed things up pretty badly and couldn't get it working even after doing the /fml confirm. Every command block was failing and scorecard commands. So I again restored from the same backup that once was working and when I start it up, I get the disconnecting player messages (which there are no players to disconnect) :-) and now I'm getting messages that the \space\DIM-1 and \space\DIM1 are set to not load on startup and to enable it in the config. I tried setting the load-on-startup in the world.conf files for the three worlds, but even then the world doesn't want to load for some reason. Guess today was not my day.
Is it not possible to uninstall the economy mod that started the problem? Sorry I'm very unfamiliar with sponge and other mod systems. There is not much more I can think of it suggest. Also, how do you know command blocks and scoreboard commands are failing if the server won't start? At least with the last log you sent me it is freezing halfway through startup and not even starting due to some mod issues. It seems like a ticket to sponge may be your best bet at this point if you can't get it uninstalled. :/
EDIT: also since your issue is mostly unrelated to the map and most players now, can you message me if you have future questions about crashes from mods? I don't want to spam this thread too much for people that follow it ok! Thanks.

I have a few questions about the map, but the first is kind of a spoiler.
I'm at the Mysterious Laboratory area in the ocean planetoid, and I don't know where I'm supposed to go or what I'm supposed to do. I'm at the red sand room with the netherwart in the center (roughly at 1652 63 -1555), and I've found and placed the emitter for the light bridge. Nothing happened after placing it, so just in case I messed something up, assume I just entered the room for the first time and didn't open the shulker box in the elder guardian tank in the previous room. Also, does the pillar in front of the emitter need one of those mirrors that is on the far off pillar? Lastly, I found a way to get out to the cavern the lab is in. Is this intentional and something I need to do, or are you not meant to get out there?
Update: Nevermind, I realized earlier with the spoiler-y questions that my render distance was set too low, so the command blocks to activate the light bridge wouldn't trigger.
I do have a question about the area, though. What are green doors later in the Laboratory? Was I able to open them on my first run through, or do I need to find an item or do something to get them to open?
Also, I lost my challenge book to a glitch a few days ago. Basically, the chunk that the chest with the book was in was corrupted and turned into what I think was a chunk from the "water world" world preset. That book wasn't the only thing that was lost, and I had to spawn in several other items that were lost to the glitch as well, as well as fill the chunk in as best I could with the /fill command. Could you give me a list of all the challenges in the book, or the command for the book itself?
yes, I can message you the command to resummon the challenge book. I may also add it in as a respawning book in the recipes chest like the biosuit book. Didn't think of this issue
I've never seen the water-chunk corruption issue but I imagine it would happen anytime you had a corrupted chunk. As long as it was proper in the download you got there isn't much I can do. MC is getting better but there are still occasional chunk corruption issues to this day. I'm not sure what causes them
Also, in other news, there is no way we can finish Beta 1.10 this weekend.
Compsogbrickus and I worked very hard on the biggest of the new custom areas and weren't able to finish it--there is just too much story/building stuff to do haha. There is still probably a week's worth of work left from what I can tell. We were just too busy this past week to put in as much time as we were hoping! I'm revising the release date for Beta 1.10 to hopefully next weekend. Thanks for your patience!

Here's a quick update on what I finished this past week. It may seem like slow going but I'm doing a lot of work that is needed behind the scenes to really polish up the systems, info file banks, holodeck, etc for final release! Some of these may sound familiar and I've talked about them before but I didn't finish fully implementing the new systems till this week!
Changelog:
- All biofuel recipes now require 1 coal/charcoal to prevent accidental crafting, you can now also convert the sugar crops (beetroot/sugar cane) and single magma cores for convenience
- biofuel recipes, refined biofuel, enriched uranium, warp crystals, CCC's, cornbread, creature kibble, diamond, ingots, gunpowder arrows, lightning arrows, honey coated apples, honey coated carrots and flying enderpearls all now can be crafted as the original recipes or 4x recipes for bulk crafting as these are the most commonly crafted things (imho) that stack
- synthesizer recipe info files have swapped location with the map for symmetry and so they are close to other files
- all synthesizer info files have been updated to show the new 4x bulk-crafting and new recipes
- synthesizer recipe info files have been reordered for organization. You now have biosuit upgrades on the top row, raw materials and expendable items on the 2nd, synthesizer tools on the 3rd, modules on the 4th, potions and foods on the 5th and extras like extra biosuit books and challenge list books on the 6th
- messages for discovering the gunpowder arrows and refrigerator module have now been added
- the game now has a message for both the prickly pear fruit (for draught) and the cactus bud (for planting) so it is clearer which part of the plant is used for what
- custom foods, treasure items, custom potions, automatic modules, and synthesizer tools now come in special name colors and with colored lore, I changed all the synthesizer recipes so they come crafted specially formatted in the new style and tested every recipe!
- I'm giving several creatures new drops for balance and to spread critical items around to more seasons. The 4 new creatures you'll have to scan to figure their drops out but I'm using them to add more sources of glowstone, power core, fire crystal, and magma cores
- Bony Biter & Flinty biter will now als drop gunpowder sometimes
- Optimization: the ship from the intro now has better navigation, there are balconies to land on in the drop chute so it is easier to go in doorways. Signs labelling wings are clear and bolded on all 3 bottom floors. There is now a computer terminal you check on the maintenance level that tells you about supplies onboard and what floor they are located on.
- Optimization: wooden trapdoors have been added to the ship as an option to cover up the engines and the 2-wide drops between floors if players wish. This is in both models, the early craft and the upgraded versions
- Added: 3 new boss trophy items have been added!
I'm on to adding in the new location info files and updating the creatures systems now! After this is finished we'll need a few days to test while we work on the 3 new custom areas that are being added so I'm expecting the update to be out sometime late in the evening tuesday or wednesday.

The Beta 1.10 update is coming along still! I ended up very busy with work these past 2 days and that's going to continue this week so not sure when I'll finish but we're getting there haha. Might be more like the weekend now, we'll see! I've continued with my optimizing sweep and I'm now attempting to make the map fully compatible with all player language settings (Beta 1.9 and earlier you had to use english language settings or many things did not work and I realized some foreign players were not getting this memo!)
Change-Log for Monday-Tuesday:
- all season transitions are language compatible
- summer and spring are language compatible
- aura wraiths can spawn during summer nights
- glow worms can spawn during spring nights
- all weather is language compatible
- all creature abilities are language compatible
- the game has been improved for lag and I've moved some things to slower clocks to reduce CPU usage and tidied up the command center quite a bit!

Just a quick update for you people looking forward to Beta 1.10! I've finished pretty much all the major mechanics and systems changes after a lot of work. Most of the command center has been overhauled, lag-optimized, items have colors, holodeck is better, many more info file systems, etc. A lot of work has gone into this update getting the game ready for final release. Essentially what we are waiting on now is for these changes to be fully tested by my tester for bugs and I'm also working on the 3 new areas and side quests in this update.
Unfortunately, my computer charging cable stopped working on thursday. I've ordered a replacement that is coming in tomorrow but that and work this week has made it so I can't do a lot of work for the past 2 days or so. I should be able to resume again soon though! We are pretty close now!

I hope everyone had a good thanksgiving! We are back to working on the map after a little break. Comp has already started on areas for the 1.11 update. Lezandria has been testing the new systems and has caught a lot of bugs which I've been fixing. Hoping to finish beta 1.10 up within the next week! Thanks for your patience! We are currently aiming to finish the map before christmas.

Hey everyone! the new command center is going live on our build server now for testing! I finally finished pretty much all the new systems and command center improvements for the future final release are just about done. Just need to do testing of some of them! Over the next couple days I'll work on getting the new area and side-quest in shape and then we'll release Beta 1.10! I am very busy with work these days so I'm not sure when these last couple Beta versions will come out but I'll keep working on the side as I have time. Thanks! Still hoping to finish up the map and release the final udpate with the end of the game programmed in this month before the new years.
Beta 1.10 will be the last update with major changes to the mechanics and systems and the last big update that takes a long time to release. I wanted to finish all this stuff for final release a couple updates before the actual final release so it gives players time to find and report any issues or make suggestions.

Yeeeess! I finally finished all the new mechanics changes. Lezandria and I are testing the last of them today and tomorrow.
This has been a long, long project. Far longer then I anticipated but I have now completely finished updating, refining, bugfixing, and polishing the command center systems to my vision for the final release! In the end I ended up reworking and redoing almost every system. xD You guys can check out and test the new systems over the next few weeks as we work our way up to final release.
List of Systems Changes:
- The game is now finally compatible with all languages settings! Previously many comments and a lot of the custom creature seasonal spawning wouldn't work if you didn't have your game set to english. This is no longer the case!
- All systems have less lag, especially the module and maintenance systems!
- the new info file system is working and in addition to synthesizer recipes, passive creatures, hostile creatures, and alien tomes, the game now also records unique encounters or lifeforms such as with boss mobs, new custom crops you can grow, and maybe even aliens if you meet them and also the interesting locations you discover! A file with a name, description, and directions to get back is generated for every largish custom area you discover including monster dungeons and ruins!
- All custom areas that generate files now have a splash-title name and comment appear when you find them, some have music!
- I'll soon be publishing a full list of creatures, crops, synthesizer recipes, tomes, and locations by name for players to see how many of total they found in theor playthrough!
- I have added new holodeck options including changing the coloring there, changing the custom mob cap, particle weather options, mob griefing option, and changing the settings from singleplayer to server (which will fix lag from using stuff like the jetpack on a server if you set it to MP Server at the cost of making animations choppier)
- all synthesizer recipes and files are updated to the colored system
- commonly crafted synthesizer recipes now can be bulk crafted with 4x the usual recipe. Items that have this option will tell you on the synthesizer recipe file and comments
- the 4 new creatures I designed: hopper, glow-worm, aura wraith, and willow wisp now spawn seasonally
- elder guardians can now spawn rarely in the fall, sorcerer and white walker king no longer spawn rarely and instead are one-time boss encounters
- All boss battles now drop a memento treasure item with unique abilities! The battles are also recorded in new info files
- Some creatures now only spawn during night-time for even more seasonal variety only creatures some seasons
Now what is left in Beta 1.10 is to finish the 3 new areas we built in the new icy asteroid chain and develop the side quest we've been working on! There are also various new custom items like the refrigerator and various treasures to discover on this journey!

Hi I just downloaded this map and I have a silly question. I'm in the process of gathering supplies before getting in to the lander. I'm stuck on something that I'm sure is incredibly simple. I can't seem to find the "harvesting shears". And the Lander Module syas to gather everything you would need before starting the landing procedure. So.... I kinda don't want to leave until I've gathered everything that I can with the shears.
So.... can someone help me find the shears? I feel like I've looked everywhere, but I obviously have missed one spot where they are.

well technically it's optional, but yeah the shears were swallowed by one of the clams in the fish tank. You should find it if you open a few!

It's great to see such a great project come along so far.
I'm still waiting for the final release to play (well, technically, I've done a few things around the world, but they were around alpha or so, and I've been updating the world and checking out the command center)

In development news we have scheduled a playtest of the new side-quest, custom locations, and asteroid chain we've been working on over the past month for Friday and Saturday! If all goes well then Beta 1.10 will finally be live after then!

Question the recycler assembly. It keeps saying i got the sympathizer recipe to make the recycler assembly. Problem is I can't find the recipe in the chest? is it a bug or am i missing something? But either way what's the recipe for it?
This happened to me as well - the recipe didn't appear in the chest.

"This is my timey wimey detector. Goes ding when there's stuff."
the recipe exists and it has generated a file in the past, there are two ways to discover the recipe so I'm thinking it may be an issue with it being recorded from the Virtual Ship Hangar sign, is that how you guys got it? I at least got it from the copper ingot which was the original way to record it before we added ship upgrades. For you guys that need it here is a command:
to record the recycler info file:
/scoreboard players set Recyler Recipes 1
If the book doesn't appear with that, then there is a typo in the actual info file code. I'll be working on Beta 1.10 again tonight and I'll take a look at it then!
Ok, so news on the pending Beta 1.10 update: systems have pretty much been checked by Lezandria and the new system we'll be launching in Beta 1.10 is working well! Unfortunately I have been having very little time around work to finish it, but I will again try to do it this week with the free time I do have. It's pretty much down to me finishing several new custom areas and biomes we have been working on.

Hey guys! Comp and I made some good progress tonight on Beta Update 1.10! Still a fair ways off from finishing it, but we are hoping that we can do it before Dec 22 in time for christmas!
We just finished building a lot of new areas and finishing up many of the systems. Here is the progress list:
- Added: Isolated Igloo
- Added: Lunar Mines
- Added: Crash Site
- Added: Killer Bunny Burrow
- Added: Forest Fire area/comment
- Added: Ice Cave
- Added: RF Base
- Added: all bosses now drop unique, colored treasure items
- Added: unique info files for all existing locations you discover! This will contain a 1-page description along with the direction to go to get back.
- Finished: scattering all the new and improved gold-colored treasure items to all custom areas
- Optimization: Mysterious Lab now has keepInventory on, an enderchest near the labs, a survival area with regen and chests to unload your stuff at the beginning, and a new item that lets you pick up a couple shulker boxes while there. This should help with inventory management.
- Places where your emergency warp is intercepted have you respawn at the beginning of the area, and also have keepInventory. They also have a custom death message with the biosuit remarking on this.
- Optimization: the game is fully compatible with all language settings! Most of it has been tested.
- Optimization: Jungle ruins and Magma Cube nest have been improved. Battle with the Mega Cube has been improved.
the keepInventory and respawning areas are very rare. Usually only areas that may take an hour or more to complete and have a lot of content and adventure areas. Mysterious Laboratory is an example
Items remaining on the List:
- We need to run some thorough testing of the existing areas and bosses to make sure everything is working properly after the ruin loot and boss updates.
- We need to test creature comments for language compatibility
- Need to program the side quest to start where you recieve a radio signal from your crashed ship and are guided there
- We need to finish the mechanics and AI of 2 new sophisticated alien ruins! (this is the big time-sink and may take me a few more days to finish)
Bug Report! Players in 1.12 have reported a death bug! Items and death markers were disappearing when players die in lava! I did figure out sort of why it happens, but it appears to be due to a new bug in 1.12 (items die when they catch on fire even if I give them invulnerability the tick after...in 1.11 they didn't so I could give them invulnerability and they were fine). They also go invisible when they catch on fire due to another bug and float upward under nogravity, making the death-marker disappear, so they may sometimes be invisible floating somewhere above where you died. You can try magnetite items to see if they are still there but they aren't always. I'm not sure how to fix but I'll try a few more things before 1.10 comes out. Really bummed about these bugs interfering with the map! :/

Hello!
Unfortunately my week has been busy and work has not continued much. I still have a picture though, as with every week.

Hey Guys,
Just a quick update for you people looking forward to Beta 1.10!

Thanks.
well technically it's optional, but yeah the shears were swallowed by one of the clams in the fish tank. You should find it if you open a few!

Ah, happy for you guys!
It's great to see such a great project come along so far.
I'm still waiting for the final release to play (well, technically, I've done a few things around the world, but they were around alpha or so, and I've been updating the world and checking out the command center)
Thanks for your ongoing support! I think you will very much enjoy the final project. It has come a long way since the alpha stages!
In development news we have scheduled a playtest of the new side-quest, custom locations, and asteroid chain we've been working on over the past month for Friday and Saturday! If all goes well then Beta 1.10 will finally be live after then!

This happened to me as well - the recipe didn't appear in the chest.
the recipe exists and it has generated a file in the past, there are two ways to discover the recipe so I'm thinking it may be an issue with it being recorded from the Virtual Ship Hangar sign, is that how you guys got it?
