This map looks amazing and I can't wait to play it!
I can't seem to get it to work properly though. It will load up fine but whenever I try to move around or move the camera it kinda snaps back to the original position, and means I cannot proceed at all.
Any help is appreciated! I have set it to run 1.8.8 with 2GB assigned. All files are in the relevant folders.
Check the first few minutes of this video to see if it's the same as what you see.
Well, this is awkward. I can't find the delete button. Gonna google how to do this...
This is a temporary post which I will remove in the near future. I just wanted to give you this video. It is a documentation of the 4 major issues I found (Although one of those 4 was very self-inflicted, so I don't blame you for glitch #2). Check the description for times on what happens. Leave a comment beneath it letting me know you've watched it, and I will then remove this post. Thanks for reading and watching!
EDIT: By remove this post, I mean this forum post, not the video. If I find more glitches, I think this is how I will contact you.
1) Pokemon Swap Epic Fail: This is not a bug, but also not exactly the best feature. Because cloning blocks takes a while, you must have swapped Pokémon too quickly, clicking on one Pokémon right after the next. This causes a glitch in your movesets. In order to properly execute a swap, you need to click on a Pokémon, and then wait for a message to pop up (it should appear almost instantly), and then click the second one. Doing this too quickly will result in what you see.
Looks like you figured it out in-post!
2) Disconnecting Mid-Battle: Well, not a bug, but that sucks. What did you click in the settings that crashed the game though?
3) Pitfall Trap: Okay! I'll give you that. =)
4) Double Battle in the Wild: Definite bug! Will need to investigate this. The reason why this happened is because you're still in Traverse Cave, but you somehow walked into Route 18 while inside the cave, an overlapping region.
Glad you checked those out. Yeah, those first two weren't really bugs at all. I wish I had footage from HappyShroomy, but he never records. He had triple battles on both ends after a while of getting in to this glitch. It was hard not to laugh out loud, to be honest. It seems to happen while you try to override an event you are in because of other glitchy behavior. Not sure if that's right, but you might want to do some experimenting. (For instance, Shroomy's occurred when his first cutscene with Jason and Melissa stopped working, so he used that "/scoreboard players set @p skipScene 1" command. Mine seemed to have happened after I /gamemode sp'ed because I was lost beyond hope (Sorry, I feel really bad about cheating, but all I did was look through the wall of the cave). It's the fact that if you somehow get out of the double battle without using commands (And you gain really high amounts of XP too), you can start to get into triple battles. I didn't even know that was possible in the story, but the text will display something like, "TEMPEST PUNK JASON sent out <Pokemon>, <Pokemon>, and <Pokemon>, but only the last one's model will render.
There, that's all I know about the issue. Hope this helps shed some light on it! (Although I don't see how it can, but maybe you will)
I can't seem to figure out how a triple battle could have occurred with Tempest Punk Jason - there are no contingencies in that fight and it's all pretty methodical. He must have done something wrong beforehand.
Either way, it's nice to know it's still working for you! Block holes are my favourite bugs since it doesn't actually affect any redstone! =)
Not working for me. Hit new game, goes to first cut-scene little text box comes up but I don't have a cursor to hit the arrows with. Screen keeps rubberbanding to center if I try to look away too. Minecraft version is 1.8.8 all settings are as they should be according to your vid, using optifine as well. No other mods installed, no other maps either.
Phoenix! I found a Critical bug! If you stand one block up and two blocks away from an item (Like the pokeball kind), you get the item but the ArmorStand doesn't disappear! That allows for infinite farms of items! Try it by standing on top of a stair in the tower in shrine walk and grabbing the Pokeball there! (Stand as far back on the top of the step as you can!)
Ah yeah, there's nothing practical we can do to fix this bug - they both use the same proximity radius, yet behave differently. Horrible exploit!
