"There's more than one world in this world... Can you feel it ?
You will soon be welcome there..."
You like horror ? Well, this one is new !
I'll warn you RIGHT NOW: This map is not for people with heart conditions !!! But you already guessed...
To begin, here's the Trailer of the Map !
(Please enable the subtitles because it's in French)
Whelloooooo everybody !
Today, I'll present you my second map on Minecraft, and the first horror map made by me. It's called:
The Cursed Marionette !
(You don't need mods to play it) -It's inspired from the game Five Nights at Freddy's 4, even if the mecanics of this game are not in this map. A big part of my map is entirely made by my own imagination.
Goal of this adventure
Investigate in a castle owned by a rich family, which is victim of... strange events , and find out what's going on.
[This map is only playable in Solo and in 1.9.4 ! It's possible that I edit this map into a multiplayer map, but only if a lot of people wants to.] For the story, it's inside the map, so I won't tell it here
What's inside
-In this map, You'll have to get past long hallways, small rooms, big rooms, basements, illusions, and plenty of other horrible things...
-During your adventure, You will find chests with BOOKS inside it which tells you the story of the map and the actual situation... So collect them all ! (Catch 'em all !...)
-You will be manipulated a lot in this map, because as the title says, You will have to confront some sort of"Marionette" which will have the pleasure to play with you... :3
-If you are stuck, search EVERYWHERE, get back to see unlocked doors etc...

Hey, I tried to make a Youtube video for this map. ... But... it's not exactly... what you'd expect. I'll still probably publish it though. It might take a while to edit and upload.
I thought the map glitched out on me because I was using commands to see how certain parts of the map worked, but after watching Kingdragon's video, I realize it was because I missed the key in the library. I ended up forcing my way up the stairs by using /setblock to replace the red barrier like blocks with air, and I got some... interesting results. After I stole everything that wasn't nailed down, that is.
Although, I'll edit in some text explaining that it's not the map's fault.
MODIFICATIONS
- Some indications were confused and players were easily lost. This has been corrected by adding some clarification in some texts in the map.
ADDITIONS
- A cutscene has been added somewhere in the map to show what doors has been unlocked. This has been added after a big confusion on where to go at a certain point in the map.
Hey, REALLY good! You totally made me feel like my mind was playing tricks on me! It took me over an hour, maybe an hour and a half to get through, and I may or may not have gone into creative to skip the parkour...
Couple of bug fixes (IDK if they're the same for others or not):
Near the beginning, when you put the pumpkin on my head, it didn't get taken off, and I got teleported to just below the map. Had to do /tp @p ~ ~5 ~ to get back on track, and manually removed the pumpkin.
Also, the timer to count down for the light crystals froze at about 2:56.
This isn't really a bug, but I'd make it a little easier next time for people to figure out where they're going; I got stuck a couple of times. Ran into that problem with my horror map, too. The things we mapmakers deal with...
That's it! Excellent job! I tweeted your map to DanTDM; hopefully, he sees it!
Okay thanks MagicalMapmaker for your respond and for testing my map!
For the bugs, it often vary from player to player. Some have bugs, some have others. In your case (for the pumpkin) it's the lag and the performance of your PC (I think), and for the timer, it's the same thing: lag.
Some players have a lot of issues with the map (These players have always a bad computer) and others players with no issues or just a tiny one or two (These players have always a correct computer).
Unfortunately, I can't fix these bugs because it's not common to everyone else who's playing on the map :/
And also, thanks for tweeted my map to DanTDM, I really hope that he's gonna see it
No problem! Yeah, my computer isn't exactly built for gaming...
BTW, if you don't mind me asking,
How did you make the textures gray later? I know you couldn't have put some gray overlay pumpkin on my head. I'm just curious. It also doesn't look like you retextured everything, although I could be wrong. But the droppers looked the same, except grayer.

There's a difference between a hero and a champion. A champion overcomes threats, but a hero overcomes fears.

Then there's also a Youtube channel I'm somewhat involved in.
Oh okay xD I hope your video will be very good to watch, exept for what you said x)
Thanks for playing my map though. I really appreciate =D

Alright, I know it has taken a while, but here is my video of the map. Well, part 1 of 2 anyway.
I probably spent way too long on the thumbnail.

How I made the parallel world grey ? Well, put out the resourcepack and see the result
Duh. Silly me...
