Hello, I am having some trouble when I am trying to open my minecraft with the mods. I really want to play this map, but I cant figure out how to fix it, the crash report reads:
---- Minecraft Crash Report -------- Minecraft Crash Report ----// There are four lights!
Time: 17.11.19 16:18Description: FML has discovered extracted jar files in the mods directory. This breaks mod loading functionality completely. Remove the directories and replace with the jar files originally provided.
java.lang.RuntimeException: Extracted mod jars found, loading will NOT continue at net.minecraftforge.fml.relauncher.CoreModManager.findDerpMods(CoreModManager.java:291) at net.minecraftforge.fml.relauncher.CoreModManager.discoverCoreMods(CoreModManager.java:331) at net.minecraftforge.fml.relauncher.CoreModManager.handleLaunch(CoreModManager.java:264) at net.minecraftforge.fml.relauncher.FMLLaunchHandler.setupHome(FMLLaunchHandler.java:107) at net.minecraftforge.fml.relauncher.FMLLaunchHandler.setupClient(FMLLaunchHandler.java:81) at net.minecraftforge.fml.relauncher.FMLLaunchHandler.configureForClientLaunch(FMLLaunchHandler.java:42) at net.minecraftforge.fml.common.launcher.FMLTweaker.injectIntoClassLoader(FMLTweaker.java:139) at net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch.launch(Launch.java:115) at net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch.main(Launch.java:28)
A detailed walkthrough of the error, its code path and all known details is as follows:---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-- System Details --Details: Minecraft Version: 1.12.2
Operating System: Windows 10 (amd64) version 10.0 Java Version: 1.8.0_51, Oracle Corporation Java VM Version: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (mixed mode), Oracle Corporation Memory: 107966376 bytes (102 MB) / 134217728 bytes (128 MB) up to 2147483648 bytes (2048 MB) JVM Flags: 8 total; -XX:HeapDumpPath=MojangTricksIntelDriversForPerformance_javaw.exe_minecraft.exe.heapdump -Xmx2G -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=32M IntCache: cache: 0, tcache: 0, allocated: 0, tallocated: 0
I also think it's very weird because I didnt open it in 1.12.2 but that is still the version it shows. Please someone help me!
I have tried so many things for about an hour now, but the lucky block addons wont work, i've even tried placing them into other places or unzippign them, but nothing works.
Only the lucky block, potion core and loot++ work, and it isn't because of the version.
Any help? I would really appreciate it tbh.
Unfortunately, website used by lucky block mod when checking updates (which are checked on each world load) no longer exists. I patched the jar and spent quite a bit looking for addons (some links were broken) and in the end I could eventually run the map. Here are the links:
First install Forge for Minecraft 1.8.9 (versions from 2016 and from 2017 work)
All of these go into your mods directory. Following original instructions, I suggest you test it right now by booting up Minecraft and creating a test world.
Night Lucky Block, version 2.5, again link was broken, I linked CurseForge. Also, note: the archive is broken! You need to unpack it and you will find a directory inside. Then you'll need to compress all the files INSIDE of this directory into an archive, so that archive contains files themselves, not the directory
Emerald Lucky Block version 1.9, link was broken, again. I linked CurseForge. I think it should work out of the box with 1.10 lag fix, but haven't tested. As author suggests, if you use version 1.9 (the one I linked), open the archive and delete config/item_effects/command_held.txt
All those .zip files (and one .jar) should be copied into addons/lucky_block/, which will appear if you've launched Minecraft before with the lucky block mod. Now I suggest you boot up the game and make sure you can find all those lucky blocks in the creative menu.
After that you are ready to play. Download the map from CurseForge and put it into your saves directory (or rename it into world and put it into your server, in which case you also need to set enable-command-block to true and all allow-flight to true in your server.properties file. Allow flight helps with it not kicking you when you fall into the void. I have seen some exceptions in server logs, but it seems to work)
Note: I haven't played through the whole map yet, so something might not work. Feel free to comment if you find that
My only complaint is we are having A LOT of trouble downloading and and getting it working originally.
