Enter the dungeon with nothing but your bare hands and thirst for treasure. Sneak, run, fight, or outsmart your way through monsters, grabbing all the loot you can find. Make your way through the maze to the Exit, and return to the safe room to store your hard-earned goods before you brave the next level. Will you risk your best gear, forging ever-further into the increasingly difficult waves of enemies in search of even better goods and opportunities - or will you stash it all and bravely face your demise, secure in the knowledge that your loot lives on for another try? The dungeon and its treasures are calling....

Installation
For Single-Player Minecraft: Simply unzip the file into your saves folder, and launch Minecraft. RogueCraft should appear in your world list, ready to play!
For a Minecraft Server: First back up your "world" folder (if you wish). Unzip the file into your server and rename "RogueCraft" to "world". Be sure your "server.properties" are set correctly: all spawning options must be set to true, command blocks must be enabled (true), and the difficulty should be 2 (hard). That's it - launch your server and call your friends!
Modification
If you try to use Creative mode you'll notice the map will automatically put you back in Adventure Mode. I've provided in-map tools to circumvent this; simply "/tp 8 5 1 0 0" (RogueCraft 1.1 only!) and there you will find some useful signs that will assist in modification. For RogueCraft 1.3, you don't need to do that, you can just alter the structures directly; you can still access the technicals with "/tp 14 4 4" (RogueCraft 1.3 only!)
A critical fix has been uploaded that makes it possible to complete The Wither (along with a couple minor cosmetic changes). You can upgrade just the loot tables to keep your existing progress on the map. Enjoy!
Holy crap, man. Really nice work! It's hard... you've definitely got to learn when it's time to call it quits. I think it would be really nice to have your hunger and HP restored at the end of each level.
Do you have any problem with YouTube videos if I want to make one? cx
I most certainly do not! This map is licensed GPLv3 which means you are free to video all you like, just don't attempt to take false credit for the map. When it's done please link back the video so I can watch and "Like" it!
Really fun, eventually made it to level 8 and embarrassingly showed a lack of parkour skill in a lava/bridge room. Lucked out looting an unbreaking sword in that one, gone now though... Luckily I stashed quite a bit that run
Nice, thanks! "Like"d them both, of course. By the way, the framerate is so bad because you're using a higher quality texture pack which tends to interfere with recording.
May i submit a request for a pausing seal or something? It is rather annoying trying to beat this in one go without logging off because errors and whatnot.

It's a known bug that after you consume a Seal the first time, you'll automatically consume any you hold in the future. Small scoreboard glitch, will be fixed in a future release. Thanks for bringing it up, though, it tells me people are playing!

I think I may have originally misread what you were saying (although my previous post does hold - new version coming soon!)
Would it help if the Seal of Bravery advanced 3 levels instead of 2?
It would be fine, I just wish there was a sort of pause option in case a unrendered spider comes and attacks your face.
Attacked by an unrendered mob? I've never heard of that happening before (in Minecraft at all!) Doesn't sound related to my map, though. There are limits to what I can do - this is a multiplayer map, so I can't just "pause" a dungeon or freeze the level. If you're playing singleplayer, the escape key will pause the game completely, but on a server, Realms, or in multiplayer, the game moves on with or without you and there isn't anything I can do about it.

Awesome! I really enjoy the map. Thanks!

I've just uploaded an update for Minecraft 1.10 that includes a host of new features!
- Reduced maze difficulty
- New hallways
- Rotations and mirrors
- More special items
- Secret bonus chests
- Rebalanced loot tables
- Ground-up rebuild of the entire game!
It should appear on curse shortly. Good luck, have fun, and don't be afraid to invite me to your server if you want an extra sword.
RogueCraft 1.3 has been released, and it actually works this time. Sorry about that! Enjoy the new features.

Ah, thanks! OP updated. I didn't realize you need the project ID as well as the name in the tag; much obliged!

I actually did a quick video of this map
