Backtrack is a puzzle map that you can play alone or with friends. No special skills are required, you only have to know how to break and place blocks. Don't let yourself be fooled however, because this can be a real challenge. You have to keep track of what you have done before and return to previous levels with new resources to solve them more efficiently.
"A concept so easy, the puzzle becomes hard."
You can play singleplayer and multiplayer in 1.13. You can play with as many friends as you want (including 0)!
Don't worry if you get stuck. There are solution videos for the entire map! You can find them here. You can also find the link inside the map.
Do you have a Realms server? Then you can also play this map as a featured adventure map on your server!
You are more than welcome to make playthrough videos of this map! Please do and be sure to link your viewers to at least this forums post in your description
Pretty cool map, but the jumps are very annoying. Eventually just gave up and gave myself Jump Boost 1; it's making the "three block over and one block up" jumps easier without allowing me to cheat otherwise, as far as I can tell.
I really like the bit on floor 8 where you have to place the >floating block, except again, the jump is more annoying than satisfying.< (highlight)
You also might want to tell players to turn off clouds, or MCEdit the map farther down/up so they're not rolling through floor 14
I'm really enjoying it so far! (P.S. the link to your website in the forum post up there is broken)
Thanks for letting me know kwerti! Another mapmaker also noticed me about this issue and the map is now updated for Minecraft 1.13.1, which fixes this issue. The new version (v1.0.2) can be played in both Minecraft 1.13 and 1.13.1, without any issues (hopefully ).
